UPDATE 6/7/24 I reached out to the company per the response on my review and detailed out the entire situation. Apparently my email(s) were flagged as spam and they did not receive. I sent one final email to let them know I was going to update my review to reflect the lack of communication, and that one was responded to. I am hopeful they will use this feedback to better the store for others and possibly make some post-pandemic changes to the online ordering process. Looking at the other reviews, my situation isn't unique, but is rare. Recently placed an order for curbside pickup. Had arrived at the restaurant at the specified time and texted that I was there per the automated text service. Proceeded to wait for 20 min, then called the number listed in the text. Rang to a fast busy signal. Thinking I had the wrong number, tried again... fast busy. Looked up the phone number to the restaurant, called. After a brief hold, the call disconnected. Tried again... this time I could actually hear someone hanging up the phone. Fed up, I went into the store and spoke to someone at the pickup counter. Apparently the "curbside" part of the order was missed and the food was just sitting there getting cold. Apologies were given and then I was handed the food and sent on my way. Unfortunately I tipped in the app prior to going (figuring someone was going to be taking the food to my car). Will not make the mistake of ordering like this in the future. If they dont want curbside orders, just remove it...
Read moreWe have been patrons of Spin Pizza ever since they first opened in Lenexa. The food is good and there are a lot of allergy friendly options. Tonight, however, was a terrible experience. The restaurant was severely understaffed and the manager was nowhere to be found. It is Saturday night, he has a very small staff to service the entire restaurant and he left at 7:00 to leave his slim staff fend for themselves. They did their very best to handle the situation but it was untenable to say the least. This manager has no business being in the service industry. He should be profusely thanking his staff, led by Owen as the shift lead. Without Owen's leadership of his overwhelmed team members and the entire staffs desire to push through, they would not have made it through the night without having to close down and/or stop taking food orders.
My family and I spent $100 to eat at Spin tonight. We sat and waited for 45 minutes before a single piece of food was brought to us, and then nearly 90 minutes before two of us received our meals. We are so frustrated by the situation and feel like our time and money was completely wasted by Spin Pizza and their inept...
