We were excited to return to where we got engaged so this was a special trip for us. We reserved a room for 2 nights in the Wyndhurst Manor. We arrived on a Monday (week after Christmas) about 2 1/2 hours before their 3pm check-in. Our room was not ready which was fine. We headed down to the inside pool and hot tub to relax as we were assured by the gentleman checking us in that our room was guaranteed to be ready by 3pm. We did not like their contactless check in process. It's so incredibly impersonal having someone take your credit card in a parking lot then hand you a key to be activated later. I had a bunch of questions but felt rushed and unable to have anyone answer them. We had early dinner plans so when it was 4pm and our room was still not ready I was disappointed as I was unable to unpack and shower. By 5:30 no text or call about our room being ready. We called them and were told that the room was finally ready. By then we were at dinner! Our room was gorgeous. Very luxurious. We love the new remodeled rooms. I was hoping to try for a pedicure but when I called the snobby Miraval spa I was rudely told that I needed to purchase an expensive day pass then could add services a la carte. I never found out what the day pass cost as I was dismissed by the woman on the phone as I was not worthy to go there. Next day we arrived at the tiny restaurant in Wyndhurst for breakfast at 10:50am. We stood completely ignored until I walked up to one of the servers. She abruptly said they couldn't seat us because they were closing in ten minutes. Our experience the evening before in the bar there was no better. The bartender was unfriendly and seemed aggravated to have to get you anything. I asked how he was doing and he gruffly said I'm really sick tonight. What?!? That is a scary and odd thing to say in this COVID world but I guess it helps to clear your guests out quickly. Our final disappointment was with the limited hours of the bar and evening restaurant. This whole area seems to shut down on Tuesdays so we had a horrible time trying to find another dinner option which you would hope your hotel would always be an option but not here. I would have given one star but the room was amazing with super comfortable beds. The gym and pool area were also great. For us it was the horrible service that will prevent us from wanting to return. I understand times are difficult with staff shortages but be honest if your room won't be ready when promised or give a discount or some token of apology. And mostly work on staff attitude as it's...

Only if your a golfer- our anniversary celebration was very disappointing... the Miraval spa is getting all the ‘love’ and attention on that property. Thought I was staying in the Manor- nope-apparent miscommunication . Was in Beecher cottage out behind manor, junior suite, nice room . Told we’d have a view- yes we had a view of employees parking lot.friends tried to call the resort to have something special sent our room- for our anniversary, couldn’t get anyone to call them back. The desk was understaffed to handle all those ‘marival spa guests’- I know Covid Covid Covid ....I could go on - the sad tired indoor pool - marival’s outside pool was Pristine! I peeked through the fence , the wyndhurst outside pool - terrible looking hole. Just a ‘fair experience’ all around... the pro shop was great! Excellent staff - should of just hung out there for three days , oh and the Tavern was good -...

My wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary. We stayed 2 nights in the mansion and golfed Saturday afternoon. The grounds weer beautiful and our room was spectacular. Golf was great and the whole staff was very friendly. It was easy to tell that they were excited to finally have guests. Overall our stay was fantastic.

The one drawback that sticks out was breakfast. We ate breakfast at the Mansion bistro on Saturday morning, which was good, but very expense and included a 15% F&B fee that was also taxed. They also advertised a deal that included breakfast with the room, but this extra fee was not included. They could have just charged 15% more for the item, the extra line item was cheesy. It's the small things that people remember and this was...
