Slow service, no hustle. Bland egg salad $12.99 per pound!?! It was chopped egg and mayo. No flavor. Luckily we are traveling through and I had granulated garlic, salt and pepper in the camper. $18.50 for a turkey sub with bacon, pepper jack and mayo. I don’t mind paying or waiting if the food is outstanding. But the fresh food was nothing special.
The gourmet prepackaged items, however, are high quality. They have gorgeous cheese,jarred spreads, and my favorite chips- Torres BLack Truffle and Keogh’s Blue Cheese. I really wanted to buy a few blocks of fancy cheese, but cold space is limited...

The soup had a subtle, spicy warmth that emphasized the flavor of the broccoli over the judicious, not overwhelming amount of cheddar. I then had a roast beef sandwich on rye. The roast beef was rare, and shaved paper thin for maximum tenderness. The roast beef was complemented with the refreshing layers of lettuce, ripe and juicy tomato, and sharp aged cheddar. This place has an amazing selection of high-end snacks, charcuterie, and cheese (lots from DiBrunos in Philly) and their food is really tasty. You think you're walking into a sub shop and instead everyone is in white aprons, talking about where the cheese comes from, and serving up better food than I've gotten at sit-down restaurants. We were so impressed with our lunch we did a special dinner and it was fantastic! Don't be put off by the outside, it's like a foodie...
