Ruby's Cafe — Restaurant in Lewisburg

Today was my first time getting food from Ruby's. I had breakfast and ordered the country fried steak with white gravy. It came with two eggs hash browns and a biscuit. I called it in as a to-go order and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Everything was cooked perfectly and looked good. The eggs were light and fluffy scrambled I asked for the hash browns to be cooked light and they looked a beautiful golden brown. I also added a pancake and it was cooked to perfection as well. The biscuit was golden brown as well and fluffy and soft. I was pleasantly surprised that the gravy did not have sausage as I do not eat pork. I had called beforehand to ask a few questions and was thrilled that they had a drive-thru as I have recently had knee surgery. I will definitely go back again. Hopefully next time for lunch. If I had to describe the food it would be down-home country cooking, but without all the greasiness. Hopefully in the future I will be able to dine in and give a review on the inside as well. Need to do something about the drive-thru. Set there for 15 minutes the drive-thru young lady told me to pull around I asked where do I pull around to she said just behind everybody that was behind me. The people behind me haven't ordered either they did not get asked to pull around after they ordered which then put them in front of me. I ended up parking my truck going inside and looking at my order after theirs. Ordered banana pudding and did not receive that, I found that out after getting home. They have a good reviews from local people, I guess I just didn't get the service. Hope it all works out for them, as for me I probably won't go back. We stopped for lunch after hiking at Henry Horton State Park. We aren’t familiar with Lewisburg and looked up places to eat for lunch on Google. The reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. The parking lot was full as well as the inside of the cafe. Service was quick and so was the delivery of our order. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak with fries. I got the chicken pasta Alfredo. Both were good and plenty to eat. The menu has lots to choose from. We had an issue with the charge on our credit card. I spoke to one of the owners, Zeus, and he has been very accommodating on getting things corrected. We will go back if in...
