My experience with Lewiston Burger King today. Placed an online order and went in to pick up order 20 minutes later. Contact with Scott. One of the managers, gave my name and he punched out a receipt and kind of threw it on the counter and said that they will get on starting the order. I looked a little confused and he noticed and I asked why they are just starting the order when I placed it 20 minutes earlier. With attitude, Scott told me that I did not confirm the order. I told Scott that I did not place the order any different than I had previous orders and asked if he could explain what confirming the order means. Again with attitude he said that I just did not confirm the order. I told and showed him my phone where it said thanks for your order, we are starting to cook your order your way. Again I asked if he could explain to me what confirming order means. All he told me was that I could call corporate or Google it. Scott on his way back to hide in his office stated loudly, that I could get the hell out of his restaurant. Hiding in his office was probably the best thing that Scott could have done at this point. I want to shout out to Erica, who stepped in and answered the questions that I had and to stop the confusion. She was very polite and understanding which helped end this experience on a good note. To the owner of the Lewiston Burger King. I hope that you read this review and asked your managers questions about what happened today. I am not one to spend my time writing reviews, but being from customer service background and that this information might not get back to the owner of this restaurant, this review needed to happen. In my opinion, a personality like Scott's should be far away as possible, from dealing with the public. Scott was the first contact at this restaurant and his serviceability going from 100 to 0 in a second has put a unpleasant memorable experience for me. Erica was the last contact at this restaurant who pleasantly turn the experience around. She should be commended greatly. Last night 6/25/2024 the BK sign was not on so I assumed not open so we went to McDonalds a few blocks away. Their sign was on and drive thru was only option. We pulled in front waiting for one sandwhich. Meanwhile a couple in an overhead van pulls up and headed to front door. "I said, inside is closed" have to go through drive thru. They said they wouldn't make clearance with their van having a tall luggage carrier ontop. So they went on about how they just left BURGER KING and they told the story about not being able to go thru drive thru and that BK employees wouldn't even take an outside order to assist thembecause of their situation with the van and BK employee was darn right rude about it all. So here they are just wanting to place an order in but can't go thru drive thru here at Mc Donalds. When the male employee brought out my sandwhich he assisted the elderly couple and they were kind enough to assist the couple and they got an order with NO HASSLE what so ever. So BURGER KING...either you want to assist and make a sale and make good customer service or ya want to create havic and loose service in sales and customers as well! Each time I've experienced increasingly long wait times and the last time while waiting with my husband in the two-lane drive-through it took us over 20 minutes to reach the ordering point with about 7 cars in front of us. After that we were asked to wait a moment, it took over 5 minutes for them to get back to us. In the meantime, the other lane of the drive-through managed to move about 5 cars through, 4 of which were behind us in line before we split between the two lanes. This left one lane completely empty and the other with about 5 cars all stuck in line.
Extremely poorly managed, frustrating experience and staff was unapologetic. Took over 30 minutes to get food in total. We will not...
