Strike & Spare Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lewiston

Let me start here-It was the WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN A RESTAURANT IN MY LIFE not only from the waitress but the manager herself was condescending. We came in for dinner on the 19th of December as a party of 7 we had to ask for water after about 5-10 minutes of being there we then asked for napkins and silverware as we had to go to the car and get fruit for the 2 children that were with us because they were hungry she did not return for another 10 min so we asked someone else to get them for us when she did return she copped an attitude saying OH you already got silverware and looked at us for about a min before she threw the silverware back on the counter behind us. YEAH we did because you didn't come back. After we waiting for approx. 45 min for our food I asked kindly how much longer it would be in which she snapped SHOULD BE PRETTY SOON. She then brought out plates and proceeded to slam them on the table in which we should have just got up and left at that point. She then brought out my pizza and that was it, none of the remaining food, which was an order of chicken strips and two other pizzas and I told our party I wasn't going to eat mine in front of them and if it was cold when their food came I was not going to pay for mine. She then brought out the second pizza and chicken strips and said the last pizza was still in the oven. WTH???? she then brought out the 3rd pizza about 5 min later so in total waited over an hour and 10 min for our food while other patrons came in after us were served and left quite sometime before us. She then brought supposedly a manager over to the table that proceeded to tell us they were new to the pizza thing and they only had 1 oven for pizzas in which we said it would have been nice to tell us that when we ordered 3 pizzas for our dinner and she said OH we should have told you that I guess. The manager was also rude and condescending. Then they attempted to go behind us and complain to each other. I have never been treated with such disrespect when it was their fault to begin with. I would like a response from the owner as to WHY THERE EMPLOYEES WOULD BEHAVE LIKE THIS!!!! There was no mention of doing anything for our bill which we paid in full and my niece left a $5 tip to boot which I did not know about, because she did not deserve anything for her behavior or the managers behavior and they did this in front of two small children. I will never give them my business again and believe me WORD OF MOUTH goes far when your treated like this from any establishment. By the way we were in town for my Grandfathers funeral which was very sad and to be treated like this was...

Over the past 20 odd years I have eaten here a few times remotely & recently stopped there again primarily for convenience having the turkey sandwich with Turkey soup & 'stuffing.' What a disappointment. Oh, sure, there is a big mass of pulled turkey between the bread toasted on a flat top with a few specks of onion beneath. Pretty dry & not much flavor. The cup of soup was fairly flavorless & over salted. The ' stuffing 'looked like a spade of topsoil plopped there & pretty flavorless, also, with a consistency from Hell. Made me wonder what went on with this in the kitchen.. a quarter spear of a dill pickle rounded out this culinary abortion. All for $15.50. What a deal. I left the place thinking who ever concocted this was thinking, " How can we lower the bar in quality to the minimum & charge the maximum? " On the brighter side, the waitress was very good & the restaurant itself was clean & attractiveJust wish I had gone out to the casino & had the cedar planked salmon ( $ 20 ) with the sauteed veg & roasted garlic mashed potatoes & salad with their excellent blue cheese dressing. It would have been worth the time. Won't be eating here...

I've eaten here a dozen times over the last year or so. But recently I've ordered the same thing I've ordered many times before and loved it, except the last time . When i picked up my order and got it home, it was horrible, nothing like what I've always had. When i called to complain, thinking they just gave me the wrong order or something, I was told that " yeah, we changed our vendor for that, and that's why it isn't the same. But the price is the same." I didn't mind paying $20 for a sandwich that i loved. But for one that was not even close and was just passed off as the one enjoyed was disappointing. Then i spoke with the manager the next time i dined in, and she gave me the attitude of it is what is. And didn't even offer an apology that i was disappointed. Made me feel unimportant...
