Update to review, this place has changed drastically over the last 4 months. I have given it 3 chances in last 3 or 4 months because I want it to be the great little restaurant it was and today was my last attempt and was failed miserably. They used to have these big chunks of chicken with the chicken Tikka cube #4 and large chunks with the beef cube #14. One time the chicken was mushy and tasted rancid and no tabouli salad. Second time chicken made me sick and the rice was almost like Mexican rice with a tomato sauce in it, and today the steak cubes were like jerky straps the rice was normal and they gave me a "tabouli salad" that was simply dry parsly and a hint of tomato, no bulgar wheat lemon juice or theirs used to have carrot in it. The meat was dry and unable to be chewed and just not good. I have tried to give them a chance, the shorter Pakistani woman that used to run it needs to come back and that would be the only thing that would convince me to return. Oh and they raised the price on dinner from 9.99 to 11.99 which was fine then to 14.99 and cut the meat portions in half. I understand food cost is up but you don't raise price by 25% and lower quantity by 50% at the same time. Ugh so frustrated.
The food here is phenomenal. Would dare to say my favorite place to eat...
Read moreFood is good however their customer service is pathetic. They don’t know how to treat their customers. We miss having Navid. The people right now don’t know how to talk and always make you wait. Even if you call and go they will still make you wait. Once I was waiting for check out and they made me wait for 15 minutes because they were eating lunch and asked me to wait till they are done eating. The closing time is 9 but even if you go at 8.30 they get upset and tell you that you should order early. The sandwich prices used to be 4 dollars which they have increased to 7 dollars now. When you get biryani it only has masala and lacks rice. If you ask for chutney they make faces. Navid definitely knew to treat customers with respect and was not cheap like these other people...
Read more4/16/25 I came here for lunch as I was near by and never tried this Mediterranean restaurant yet. I was told by locals to frequent here to order only Mediterranean food options as the other foods they offer aren’t as good. (They offer Indian cuisine and fried fish/chicken) so I ordered the Greek shawarma chicken entree. I had a coupon that offered a slight discount for my lunch entree, but the employee said it didn’t qualify for it. Not sure why, but that’s fine. He was using a translator to speak with me, so may be some confusion. The food was mediocre, you do get plenty of food but it just lacks the flavor I expected. It was empty inside when I came in, which is always a worrisome feeling for me, but it wasn’t too bad. I won’t be back anytime soon but glad I atleast...
