Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Lexington

I’m so confused and all over the place leaving this review. If it was for the initial phone call with the young woman that took my order, she was so kind and helpful. They accidentally took the wrong apartment number but fixed it with a quick phone call. Food was kind of slow but it was lunch time so I get it. Still 5 stars. Driver was so nice and had a big smile on his face. I have a one year old and I was trying to fend her off from getting out of the door and accidentally gave the driver an extra $20. If it wasn’t the only money I had, I wouldn’t have even called but I had to. The woman, an assistant manager was helpful enough to give me my $20 back the next day. 10 stars if I could. The confusing part? Later that day, I call because I don’t have a car and tell them I’d like to just order more food and pay the difference and tip once they got here. I used to work at Jimmy Johns in Louisville and it was a fun experience and very positive. This guy- was the most rude “manager” I have ever experienced. I of course made sure to be cordial on the phone and honestly figured they rather have more business, right? Wrong. I wish I got his name. I’m legitimately concerned about someone possibly spitting in my food. It was as if he thought I was lying about accidentally giving the driver an extra $20? I feel bad enough about it in the first place. I was a driver there myself. It was just the last of my money. This is embarrassing and humiliating honestly. I wouldn’t typically just leave a review for a sandwich shop. But the staff that you all have here Is second to none. Online lorder That I messed up and did pick up rather than delivery I waited for over an hour until I realized I made a mistake I called the store To be answered by BO He understood my mistake. He addressed the issue and went above and beyond. This was a late night order and he could’ve just called it quits but he exceeded my expectations With his main man Carlos Answering the bell within minutes being freaky fast

Not only the best sandwich I’ve ever received from Jimmy John’s The customer service was 2nd to none I know this is a stupid thing to be excited about, but they took a bad experience and made it perfect

The ineptitude and total lack of professionalism of this store is absolutely appalling. The last several times I’ve ordered food for delivery from here there has been one problem or another. My most recent experience was an order which was taking a long time, and when I called to check on it I was told that they only had one delivery driver and that my order should be arriving at any moment. Shortly afterwards I received a call from a person at the other end of my street who said they had received an order from Jimmy John’s with my name and number on it. When I called back and informed them of the issue the manager informed me he could issue me a $10.00 credit…on a$70.00 order!
