Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Lexington

Zaxby's is great! They have the best chicken sandwich in town! The Popeyes chicken sandwich that people were literally caught on camera clubbing each other over the head for, resulting in dozens of felonious assault charges, turned out to be no big deal. We waited in line for 30 minutes a month after they made their debut, and the sandwiches looked nothing like they did on the commercials. The state of Kentucky wasn't impressed at all with those average, ordinary, and mediocre chicken sandwiches. The bread, the chicken, the pickles, the sauce, nothing about the tv commercial Popeyes chicken sandwich had anything in common with the sandwich people were beating each other up for. I truly believe that Popeyes paid people to carry on that way, and that it was nothing but a bunch of publicity stunts. Popeyes chicken sandwiches were never good enough to go to jail over. Nobody's chicken sandwiches are worth fighting over! Zaxby's crispy chicken sandwich looks and taste like the Popeyes crispy chicken sandwiches were supposed to taste. The freshly toasted brioche bun, the big inch thick hunk of crispy fried chicken breast, pickles that still have some snap left in them, and that delicious Zaxby's sauce has won over Louisville and Lexington Kentuckians hearts. And of course Zaxby's chicken strips are better than everybody's,,,,,,but Raising Cane's. 😜 Sorry Zaxby's! I know this review is supposed to be all about Zaxby's, but Zaxby's chicken strips are not better than Raising Cane's. Zaxby's has a much larger menu variety than Cane's, and everything on Zaxby's menu is delicious! If you are looking for a bomb chicken sandwich go to Zaxby's. If you are looking for awesome hot wings go to Zaxby's. Fried pickles, fried mushrooms, onion rings, fries, salads, etc, etc, go to Zaxby's. They have something for everybody. But if you are craving chicken strips that are accompanied by my favorite chicken dipping sauce, I prefer Raising Cane's chicken...

WORST CUSTOMER/MANAGEMENT SERVICE EVER!!! Yesterday was the first time my family decided to go eat here. Bad mistake. When we walked in, there were only a few people in the store. It took about 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. We ordered our food, the kids had the chicken fingers and my fiance and I had salads. It took about 5 minutes or so to get our food. We started eating and everything seemed to be okay. I took a bite of a cucumber and I guess it had gone bad, it tasted like a pill had gotten stuck in my throat, you know that really nasty taste. I brushed it off as just being a bad piece and I kept on eating. I got about half way through the salad and I bite into another cucumber, only this time I thought I was going to get sick. That same pill taste was there and it was a lot stronger than the first one. I took my bowl up to the counter and told the girl working that there was something wrong the cucumbers. She said hold on let me get the manager. The manager (Brittany was her name) came out and asked what was wrong. I simply told her that I thought something was wrong with the cucumbers. She cut me off mid sentence and said "I tasted the cucumbers and so did two of my employees and there isn't anything wrong with them." I told her that it wasn't all of them but just a select few. She insisted that there was nothing wrong with the food. Finally after arguing for a few seconds I just told her to forget about it. It wasn't like I wanted anymore food, or that I wanted my money back, I was simply trying to let this girl know that I almost got sick off of their food. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! You don't treat your customers that way. You do what ever it takes to make them happy. I guarantee you that if she keeps that up, they...

I live 5 min away and typically always have a average experience ( warm chicken, warm fries, avegage food, average service) . But today was a game changer. I won't be back. When ordering I was specific. The girl read the order back (wrong) and I repeated it(she cut me off), she read my order back. I pulled to the window. Was handed a drink. First my order simple as it was was wrong and I was over chargered. When I asked to speak to a manager I was unwelcomely greeted by another cashier. While explaining to her my issue she cut me off and rudely replied "We fixed it" then closed the window. Never took my card. I sat for 3 min or so waiting on 3 nibblers and fries and was greeted by Eddie asking what do I owe you .25. I explained my issue and told him to just cancel the order... Like why? Why does it seem like the rudest people in the building work the window. I know thats not how that works. Plenty of other options...
