EL Reparo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Liberty

This was our first visit here. We usually go to El Caballo Blanco. As we walked in the first thing I noticed was how noisy it was. Then I noticed how long we waited before someone noticed that we were waiting to be seated. Once we were seated our waiter came to the table in a rush, he couldn't quite focus on us because his attention seemed to be everywhere else. I gave him the benefit of the doubt figuring maybe they were short-staffed. He was not very patient or friendly and just seemed to be in a very big hurry for the entire visit. He barely gave time to answer our questions about items on the menu. It was quite a wait before our food came out, we had gone through two drinks and two baskets of tortilla chips. And when our food finally arrived the Mexican rice was cold. My enchilada dish was way spicier than I'm used to. When we asked our waiter for to go boxes we had them basically thrown onto the table. Placed carry out order told it would be 30 minutes. Sent my granddaughter to get it 35 minutes later. She didn't come out after 15 minutes so I called to find out was told they were boxing order up then Called 15 minutes later was told she would be right out. 8 minutes later she comes out. I called back and asked why. Order was placed at the time I called just not prepared but was told that was not the case. Since when does it take almost 1 1/2 hours to get Mexican food. Then get it home and had guacamole on it even though ticket said no guacamole. No apology just rude on the phone. My money will be...

I moved to Liberty area about a month ago and have been eating at the Liberty El Reparo about 3 times a week. Tonight I placed an order to go but they told me that if I wanted salsa with it I would have to pay extra. To me spending a $100 a week at a restaurant I shouldn’t have to pay extra for salsa. If I need to pay extra then maybe I need to dine elsewhere. There are other good Mexican restaurants in Brookville or Connersville to eat at that would probably appreciate a good customer that tips well. Shouldn’t have to pay extra for a little...
