Omgoodness!! We have passed by here for several years. Always wondering what food was sold, was it good, affordable... We finally stopped today and ... JUST WOW!! THE 1ST WAS OUR SERVER RACHEL... she was so AMAZING... nice, kind, attentive... you could tell she loves and believes in THE LIBERTY BELL RESTAURANT and THE FOOD SERVED...just ALLROUND what I hope for and enjoy as a server. SEEMS ya don't get people who care like that since before 2020... I do not know why!!!?? NOW, the food... I had the Liver Dinner. Presentation was wonderful, food was hot 🔥 and the taste was best I've had since, well BEST livers ever hands down. My husband had the 4 PC chicken dinner... he said same, great presentation, everything was HOT 🔥 and the TASTE was beyond his expectation. The value for our FOOD... COULDN'T BEAT IT ANY PLACE WE'VE EATEN IN A LONGGG TIME! THANK YOU LIBERTY BELL RESTAURANT for keeping you cost reasonable. We definitely will be stopping in, again, on our way through!!!! Thanks Rachel for your AMAZING service!!!!!

We go every year when we go to "Day out with Thomas". This year was not an exception. And just like every year we were not disappointed. Started off with cheese sticks, they were good. I got the liberty club and it was so good, and so big I could not finish it all. My Husband got the beef boat and he said it was good. Oldest son got a 8' veggie lovers pizza and it was good, I had a bite or two. Mom got a salad, it was huge and she said it was good. We got a 9 piece of chicken to go, it's always delicious! And we got a cookies and cream pie, coconut cream pie, and carrot cake to go as well. All of them were delicious! We keep saying we need to come back more then once a year, but it's a long drive for us, but well worth it!! Just stop in and eat anything on the menu, I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Normally this is a 4.5 Star Restaurant any day of the week when it comes to bona fide Indiana home cooking but yesterday was everything you could've asked for in an All American "Thanksgiving Day" Dinner. While the food was as excellent as One would expect it was the hospitality of the Waitresses that made it a Great Time. Yes there were some extended waits for Seconds and Refills but When those Girls were going non-stop in a Place that at times was Standing Room Only the Smiles and Good Spirits made it decided even before We were done that this Family had just found a New Tradition. So for Family and Friend alike You're Invited to Join Us for "Thanksgiving 2019" at the Liberty Bell.

Overpriced and underspiced, with staff that blames you behind your back for their mistakes. That was our experience here on this trip.

My family and me ate here. I had a cod sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was the only thing that was remotely okay, it was a little on the sweet side but had a good acidity balance.

First off my dad ordered a house salad with his meal and blue cheese dressing for his salad. When the salad was brought out there was no dressing on or around the salad. This in of itself is not a huge issue, we simply informed the waitress about it. She said, and I quote "Is there not dressing on that salad? I could have sworn I put that dressing on there. Oh well Ill get you some more". I myself got up to use the bathroom which happens to take me right past where the servers work and go into the kitchen. Upon passing my server was loudly talking to another server and I heard her say "I put dressing on that salad, I KNOW I DID" and the other waitress agreed with her and told her she did. Now, she physically saw the salad on her table, and saw there was no dressing on it, so why would she go back up and complain loudly and in front of all the other customers that she put it on there? I don't know....... I suppose I'm nitpicking, but as someone who works in restaurants, it's just unprofessional to see someone talking and acting like that in front of all her other customers.

I would have let it go, but the food wasn't very good either. The meal that I had was 9.99, and in the picture for the food (yes I know, the picture doesn't always reflect the food) the fish sandwich showed the meat, lettuce, and a white sauce (mayonnaise or tartar? I couldn't tell) served on a kaiser bun, but when served I was just given the meat, on a plan bun. No lettuce, no mayo. Now, under normal circumstances I would have just asked for the missing condiments, but after hearing what I heard the server say I was honestly disinclined to point out anymore errors. Who would want to point out an issue or mistake, even an honest or simple one, when you think the person you are telling is just going to go talk crap about it behind your back to everyone? Not it.

The fries had no salt, no pepper, nothing. Just grease and starch.

Theres alot of ways this meal could have been good, alot of simple things that could have been easily fixed, not done, or handled better. Any of it would have improved my trip. What I was left with however was a feeling of overpriced, underseasoned food, and a kitchen staff who must not care about attention to detail (I mean really, who serves just a fish sandwich on a plain bun? not even fast food places would do that to you) and servers who serve each others egos more than their guests.

I truly hope this isnt the norm for them, maybe it was a bad day? Maybe they were short staffed? Maybe I should have manned up and asked for the missing condiments. I will never know, as I won't be going back. 10-14 a plate for a chance to be disappointed isn't a risk I'm willing...

We have lived in Liberty 19 years. Sad to say we have only eaten at Liberty Bell maybe 10 times because they have to have the worst service and some of the rudest waitresses around. I talked my wife into trying here again last night. She reluctantly agreed and as it turned out I should have listened to her. We don't ask for much. Nice sit down meal, good food and friendly service. The waitress was so rude I felt like an inconvenience to just place my order. My wife ordered Cole slaw with her meal which was slammed and slid so hard at her it would have went off the table if the wall had not been there. It made her mad to ask for drink refills that she could clearly see were empty. I had gotten there fish special and there was no tartar sauce on plate. I asked could I please have some. After an eye roll and 10 min I finally got some thrown at me. And it was hot but I thought maybe it was just by a warm plate. As it was I really believe it was bad sauce sitting out for too long done on purpose to prove a point. I was up sick all night. No more chances for this place. This was not a new waitress. She has been there as long as I can remember. Sad thing is all we were looking for was a nice meal and decent service. The food is usually good but by no way is worth the treatment you are given. Bottom line.....if you are looking to be treated like a huge inconvience whenever you step in by all means try Liberty Bell. Looking for pleasant meal and atmosphere?...

If I could go lower, I would. Let me just start out by saying that I have been coming to Liberty my whole life. I love this town. But the service/or lack of for better words my family received was terrible. I hadn't been to this restaurant in a long time. It's a seat yourself place, which is fine. It only took about 10 minutes for the server to take drink orders. In the mean time, 3 booths around us seated. Server immediately came and took their food and drink orders. Mind you, we never asked for more time to order our meal. We waited 30 more minutes before we were ever checked on again. She did apologize. And I get it, people get busy. We watched as every table around us not only got food, but also recieved drink refills and their bills. Eventually, about 30-40 minutes later, the server came back by and said, how is everything. I reminded her we had nothing yet. We had been there for over an hour. And how do you not know you didn't bring a family of 4 a meal?! She said, well let me go see what the hold up is. No thanks. At this point my kids are starving, and we don't want food that may or may not have been sitting for close to an hour. There was no apology. We left. And did I mention we passed a nasty used condom just laying in the parking lot??. I have never been treated so poorly...
