A scream. The clatter of utensils. The hushed gasps of passersby.
A mother looks upon her child, face twisted with horror, upon hearing the accursed words that fell from her child's mouth -- his very first words, in fact.
He spoke the name of the forbidden place.
In the black sea of infinity that surrounds us, the stars watch the Earth. And they recede deeper into the waters, out of fear of the hellish blemish that our mother Earth possessed.
This place whispers to the innocent, appealing to their deepest sin. Greed? Gluttony? Lust? It mattered not. All were enamored by its call, like a shipmaster captivated by a siren's song.
Once they realize their situation, it is far too late. All souls are drained, any semblance of identity that once was is destroyed in an instant and replaced with indifference. Deep down, in each husk, is a soul crying to be released, and where screams try so desperately to go, only murmurs are found.
In truth, none could blame the child for his insolence. His very own father, a victim of this place, has roped him into the curse this facility places upon its patrons. In fact, his mother, too, was a victim, but of a different sin.
And as the chain of connections grows, one may realize... Everyone in this room is a victim. Noone is immune to the seductive whispers of this place, as it lures hundreds upon thousands in, to sow despair and throw them out, leaving them far emptier than they once were. Truth be told, these people stood shocked not because of the child speaking such a curse, but because they feared the curse had come back for them. That it was calling them back.
And truth be told, it was.
The child turned his head to the audience. A wicked, inhumane smile forming upon its face. It's eyes widen. The crowd shudders, before stiffening in a state of paralysis, eyes fixated on the child. And he spoke the call, once more, of the forbidden place:

Read moreI wanted breakfast so I figured I would try Wendys. I was behind someone who was already waiting to give his order, and there was someone at the window. It was getting close to not being breakfast but there was still plenty of time. They waited for the car at the window to leave before they took the next order. Then when I pulled up to give my order, I sat there for a minute looking at the breakfast menu to decide what I wanted. While I was waiting on them to take my order, someone comes out to change it to the lunch menu. I asked if I was still going to be able to get breakfast (because that is what i was there for) and if not, I was just going to pull off. The guy was really nice and said yeah that should be ok, but the lady on the mic decided to come in at that point and say "You just pulled up". i told her that I had already waited 7 minutes behind the guy in front of my before i pulled up to the speaker. When i got to the window, she was very rude, didnt give me my receipt and basically all but threw my food at me. This is not the first time this particular person has taken my order, and been rude with not only me but others too. And they were trying to avoid doing any more breakfast by taking their time with the orders. I understand times are tough, but if you honestly dont like your job, go...
Read moreTried placing a mobile order at this location and just moved into the area. Placed it for drive through pick up. Got through the line they asked us to pull forward to wait for it so they could get the next customer paid up. No big deal I used to work fast food I understand how it works and they do that to keep their drive through times down and keep corporate happy. Waited 30 minutes and watched 5 other customers get their food through that drive through. Finally went inside to get the order. Staff member inside was friendly but gave us the complete wrong order. We got the right drinks but complete wrong food. After the wait we figured it was right was the right size order so we started driving home only to find the order was not right. Tried to call and give them a heads up that we were coming back due to it and to get it fixed. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were busy. Took 3 calls to finally get an answer only to explain the situation and be hung up on. There’s another Wendy’s not much farther in the area that has never caused us these issues. Will be going there from now on because this location just can’t get...
