SUPER nice people, enormous menu, great prices, great service, and delicious food! Their menu is enormous - we made the whole family of 4 adults happy with eggplant rollatini, a sicilian sausage pasta, a nice-lookin' beef gyro, and a chicken caesar wrap for takeout (my brother). PLUS each came with choice of salad/soup and red garlic bread for the table.
And get this: it was all $60. Yep feeding a family of 4 ADULTS delicious food and sides. I even had stuff to take home!
Their garlic bread is fantastic, it's actually got some secret ingredient that makes it red. It's so good that I definitely will have to get thier pizza next time since clearly they know how to make great-tasting bread! I love Lincoln Park because the town is so quiet, but despite the town's sleepy atmosphere, these folks had quite a lot of families coming in to pick up meals! Clearly the town likes them too.
Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, their litte dining area in the back is so homelike and cozy!!! Plus they offer real plates and dining service with a super helpful and nice waittress who also brought out extra parmesan cheese upon request.
The family that runs the place was so cheerful, happy, and eager to help, even at 9 PM on a weekday! Everyone we spoke to were sunny & bright even at the late hour. They answered all our menu questions, gave advice, and were smiling from the time we came in to the time we exited.
Seriously, this place is fantastic. Family businesses like these deserve to be open for years and years, please support them - because I know...
Read moreI only stop to write reviews for places that I find exceptional. At first glance Sibora's looks like a pizza joint. And it is, don't get me wrong, but it's a pizza joint that's just better. The pizza is pizza but everything about it is a little bit better than standard fare. Except the crust, their crust is better than standard by far and away. I don't know what they do to make pizza crust so crispy and delicious but I don't care, I just want more. I'm a "eat the pizza and toss the crust" kinda guy but I literally got a to go box to take my son's pizza crust home after dinner. It reheats perfectly in the toaster oven, I had it for breakfast. Beyond the pizza, the food here is GOOD. understand that I don't mean good for a pizza place, I mean good for a restaurant. I had the chicken saltimbocca entree and it was prepared and plated like a dish in a restaurant where they care about things. Best pizza place entree I've ever had. Plus the dine in service was lovely, there were definitive courses, each arriving at an appropriate time and fresh. Nothing we ate was rushed or left under a heat lamp until we were ready. I was very much impressed and you can bet we'll...
Read moreMaybe it was just an off day but what I ate here today was not 5 stars so I'm truly surprised so many people give this place great reviews. The service is terrible.it seems the girls here don't know how to interact with people properly. I got penne vodka. On the menu it's rigatoni but I asked if it could be penne instead and it wasn't a problem(really I wouldn't have cared either way) but when it came out it was rigatoni. Go figure. My husband got cavatelli and it was disgusting. This gross sauce and all you could taste was basil. WAY TO MUCH BASIL. The whole dish was basil. My food had this disgusting back of the throat taste. Come to find out it's because they put red onion in my dish. Red onion is powerful and completely over powered this dish. What am I saying....WHO PUTS RED ONION IN VODKA SAUCE TO BEGIN WITH? THATS NOT VODKA SAUCE. Nasty. If they continue to put out dishes like that they will lose...
