Amigos/Kings Classic — Restaurant in Lincoln

Amigos at 27th & Normal Blvd. I used a coupon for a grilled Chicken Taco Salad. I drove thru about 9 pm. Friendly employee. I have certain requests for my order which doesn't involve the food itself, just the packaging. My order specifics were all met, EXCEPT . . . I was given the Hamburger Taco Salad (which I really do not like at all!), NOT the Chicken 😕🥴. This was discovered a 1/2 hour later, after arriving home. I tried calling a couple of times with no answer. Since I am a Diabetic 2 and had been up since 3:30 am, I was hesitant to drive back. I placed an order for pickup on doordash. The app said my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. I headed to amigos after 15 minutes, and followed the doordash app instructions of “skip the line and show the cashier your order confirmation” When I drove straight to the window I was told I was supposed to stop and order through the intercom, so they could make the food hot. Which absolutely defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead of time and going to pick it up. When ordering for a pickup whether I’m a customer or a doordash driver the food should either be ready, or I should’ve been told it just be a moment. My only concern is how many other people’s orders are taking way longer than needed through any other...

I have the most horrible experiences every time I come here, don't know why I return I guess because its convenient. Visited on the 16th and got 4 different ice creams/shakes etc, a cheeseburger, and a mexi fry total was around $17. Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes than up at the window for 13 minutes! Absolutely ridiculous there was one other car behind me and one in front of me at the time. Neither girl coming to the window apologized or tried to make it right.
