Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant Since 2024 — Restaurant in Lincoln

This is a repeat of a review from several years ago. I will not return. But feel that potential customers should be aware. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Food was not overwhelming. But, it was acceptable. Especially since we were late for a normal lunch rush and there were very few customers. There was a child, maybe about seven alone at the table next to ours. The hostess would occasionally come by and check on him. This is not the first time that I have seen staff's children in Chinese restaurants and we thought nothing of it. Toward the end of our meal we began to get the impression that the child was sick. Talking to the staff, on our way out, we learned that the child was there because he had been sent home from school sick, his mother did not have a sitter, so brought him to work.

Needless to say we were very upset! Especially when my wife developed the same symptoms approx 48...

I have given this place many chances over the last year. Out of (guesstimate) 15 times only once did I have no complaints about the food. As it is close to my work, me and my coworkers have eaten here a lot. This time was the last straw. I ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special. The noodles were so overcooked that they were like mush. The fried rice has never had any flavor. Also, I read the other reviews on the crab rangoon and it sounds like we are eating at different places. Every single time it is more wrapper then filling, if there ever is any filling. This last time there was no filling and the wrapper itself was stale and cold. I get the feeling that the ones we got had been made yesterday or made for an earlier order. The cashier is always so nice but customer service is not enough to make me come back to this...

Children are not allowed to eat here...lady that works in front is very rude to my family each time we come and we ask to stay yet she packs our food to go and she won't even make eye contact with me and walks away while I'm talking to her or asking her questions then goes back in the back speaks another language and its so obvious she is speaking about us...by the way I tip her and I clean before we leave every time...I asked her if children are not allowed and she avoids my questions as her face gets red...I won't be coming back...not a family friendly place. I forgot to mention I been coming here for years still can't figure out why she is mean to me...there's a young guy who works their and he us very respectful and kind makes us feel welcome to him I give 5 starts for his...
