Biji's Best — Restaurant in Lincoln

I had been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally got to last week and I liked it quite a bit. The food was very tasty (The Oven is better and anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves). The person serving up the food was kind as well.

It lost a star on my review because of the prices. It is expensive. Gas station, cafeteria style (not made to order) food shouldn’t be that expensive. There’s a great Indian food buffet in Omaha that’s cheaper than a full order here… I know people really like it, and I liked it too but it won’t get added to my rotation because of the price unfortunately.

I been here every Friday for the food and today is the worst because of the lady serving being cheap with food, $8 for 3 spoons of rice and 2 pieces of chicken (my friend gave me an extra piece of chicken because of how little my portion is). Beside that i said the full order is for someone else and she continues to pour sauce and chicken all over the rice made it all soggy instead of put it in the 2 spaces for it. Hidden gem! I dare you to find better Indian grub at better prices. Anytime I'm on the SE side of town, I get excited to remember I can swing by Biji's Best. Tucked into a unassuming gas station, Biji's offers a rotating collection of hot meals that can be ladled out for take-away. Today's selection was black lentils with perfectly cooked rice ($5.50 for a generous portion). Snagged a Mango Lassi from the fridge for a mere $3. Everything was fresh and flavorful. ...
