Grapevine — Restaurant in Lincoln

I got off work and arrived at The Grapevine early to meet someone for a drink. Sucky day, ready for a few drinks. Dark inside, but very friendly, clearly lots of regulars. Fun and busy Friday evening. Waitress came and took my order quickly. Here is where my problem started. I finished my beer quickly. No waitress. Tried to catch her eye (I have been in a bar or two in my life) to no avail. After 20 minutes of not having a drink I went to the bar, after a few minutes the bartender finally came to me (It was busy) and I ordered two beers. The bartender asked me who the second one was for. I told him they were both for me because I had been waiting a while to get one. He said "I will serve them to you one at a time." One of Lincolns great neighborhood bars. Located just off S. 33rd and Stockwell St. This small bar is generally always half full. It’s dark inside so let your eyes adjust to its sultry ambience. I love this neighborhood bar but unfortunately don't feel comfortable drinking there during the pandemic because of the close quarters. Pretty much anywhere you sit, people will be walking by.
