Nebraska Christmas Lights Show — Local services in Lincoln

This is our second year enjoying the amazing lights display at Nebraska Christmas Lights Show and we are equally as impressed with our second visit as we were last year with our first.

It was an enjoyable experience for the entire family and our two kiddos really loves, especially our 1 year old. We danced and rocked out to the joyful and uplifting music that not only made the lights super fun but also kept in with the meaning of season. I’m here at their opening show on 26 November 2022 at 5:30 pm. I’ve seen at least half a dozen event workers come flying into the area within the last 10 minutes. Not a single event worker knew anything about the totality of the light show nor why the start time of 5:00 pm was delayed. There are no signs throughout the entire event and only a handful of exits. If you have the patience of a saint and no children, by all means, go to this event. Otherwise, avoid it like the black plague. Seriously, it’s not worth the $20ish. This was an absolutely beautiful experience for our whole family! From the moment we started on our tour, we were mesmerized by all of the stunning, twinkling lights which were so beautifully designed and perfectly choreographed to the music! We especially appreciated the tribute to our armed forces, and our little ones enjoyed all of the animated characters, from Santa and his reindeer to the cute little penguins, all of the gorgeous Christmas trees and the cool tunnels.
