Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Lincoln

I have been to a few Runzas now and there are a few common take aways I have experienced. Runza restaurants are typically cleaner after a rush, then most fast food joints. The staff is clean and they present themselves well. They appear to enjoy working for Runza. Although I do not care for the Runza, the hamburgers are fantastic. The fries are also awesome. The shakes are ridiculous! Seriously, these are pure trouble. We tried the mint shake, and those should come with a warn...do not share or you will be back at the counter to buy another! If the trash can is full, they empty it. No really, how many times do you go into a fast food joint and the trash is overflowing....and people are trying to find one with a little room.

So based on my few visits at multiple locations, they all appear to be similar.

I have to present a detractor, as no business is perfect. Every location I have been to, the store entry is a mimic of frogger, 80s reference, as getting past the cars in the drive through can be a challenge. There has to be a better design? Maybe park the vehicles near the store and let the drive through go behind.... like most restaurants. Anyway, this is more sarcastic than an issue.

Don't fall away from your high quality products, it might cost a little more... but so...

Amazing food & service! I had not eaten here since I was a kid and my neighbor who was traveling with me had never been here before. Both of our experiences today were five stars and above :-) Sean took our order, was helpful while ordering and did 2 people's work at once. He was running both the front counter and drive thru. Both lines went fast the way he multi-tasks! Next time I travel through Lincoln I will try to stop at this exact location and hopefully Sean will be working. I got the BBQ bacon Runza and it was so good I will probably get it again next time. My neighbor got a BLT Runza. They accidentally made a BLT wrap. Once I told them they let us keep the wrap and made the Runza she had ordered. To finish the visit we both got Ice cream sandwich cookies. They are good. I recently met my father for lunch at this Runza location. My experience placing my order was a little off putting due to lack of professionalism from the staff. There was a young woman working that was complaining about how late she had to work and was very loudly talking throughout the duration of my meal. The other people up front were also having non work related conversations that was distracting from across the restaurant. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the meat was rubbery almost a little under cooked. I only ate about half of my sandwich but did enjoy my french fries. I do not plan on going back to this location and probably won't eat Runza at all for a while.
