Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Lincoln

This is a weird Scooter's in the sense that you have to be on South street heading west to get into the lot, or else traveling along Normal Blvd heading north. It's a convenient location if you're running along South or Normal, but it depends on what way you're going.

In the times I've been here I've had only one problem with my order. My stepdad and I had gone through the drive thru after 5pm and ordered one hot drink and one iced. The hot drink came out as a blended drink, but since we were both more interested in getting home after a day of work we just rolled with it. Only one person was working that afternoon, and maybe they felt a little under the gun to get all these orders prepared for the line in the drive thru. My stepdad enjoyed the blended drink anyway, so we didn't feel there was a reason to make a stink about it. I love an iced specialty coffee after work, it's a nice way to help unwind after the day. Despite the one hiccup I've had ordering here, the drinks I do get are consistent and taste like they should and how I remember them.

When I've been through in the early morning just after they open, and there's usually two people working. Maybe the management here should consider another worker during the late afternoon/evening shifts. Besides this, the employees I have interacted with here are all polite and courteous, and in the mornings are not grumpy or put-out by having to make drinks right at opening. i went through this scooters, and had ordered a medium iced super skinny carmelicious, and a medium white mocha peanut butter cup, when we got to the window the boy working read the drinks off incorrectly, so we double checked that they were the way we ordered them and he said they were correct. after receiving our drinks and paying, we realized the iced drink tasted off (we get the same drinks almost every day) and that the blender was a large instead of a medium so i checked my app to see the order, and they had charged me for a large (which was no big deal) but i was also charged for extra mocha, extra white mocha, and add peanut butter, which had taken one of my modifier rewards off of my app. and the carmelicious was just a normal one, not super skinny. we went back through the drive thru and they offered to remake our drinks, i had them remake the iced drink, and then was just asking about the charges that were added to the wm pb cup. the boy had a bad attitude and said that they do not offer a white mocha peanut butter cup drink and that those 3 extra charges were the only way to ring it in. i work in management at a scooters and i order a white mocha peanut butter cup all the time at other scooters and when i told him that he very rudely grabbed another girl and said “you talk to her” after i explained to her what happened she just said she’d give me a refund and to pull thru and that was...

I really want to give this location more stars b/c staff is pretty decent but my order is always off tasting. Like there’s not enough Carmel or sweetness of some sort and it’s never filled as much as other locations so what am I really paying for? It’s the most convenient location to me but unfortunately I try to avoid it b/c my coffee is never done right. They corrected it 2 times and all of them were wrong and I was told to maybe add sugar. That’s not what I paid for and it doesn’t help when the manager is making the drinks. I hate to complain but people pay a pretty penny for these drinks and I just think it really needs to be corrected b/c a simple small Carmelicous can’t be that hard.
