Me and my girlfriend are new to the area and wanted to try some local food and decided on this place after reading a few reviews of good service, good food, and generous portions. Upon arrival the place seemed nice but the issues arose when it was apparent we were new and the other customers made it clear with the attitude and glares that we weren't the type to be expected there. It was a slightly uncomfortable setting but we decided we'd still try the food and only chose a single croissant sandwich with a side of hashbrowns to split between us (as the other reviews stated they gave out very good portions). After ordering we overheard the staff criticizing our choice to not order much and simply wanting to try out the food. while nothing may have been explicitly said about us, we still felt incredibly judged by the staff and customers. The food was insanely greasy it tasted alright, but the other reviews are correct on the portions being decently sized. Overall food was okay if you don't mind where you're eating, who you're eating with, and about your heart health, go ahead and visit. Not a good place for younger people and not very welcoming to other types of people (if you know you know🤚🏾). We will not be...

This was my second time there and by far the worst experience at a cafe around town. I ordered steak and eggs. Steak medium and eggs over easy. Homemade toast which I was told is the best, and a side of French toast. It took over 20 mins to get my meal and others came out before mine who had been there after me. When I got my plate the eggs were about 1/3 uncooked whites. I told her and she said maybe you want medium then. Over easy means it is cooked on both side with a warm runny yoke not uncooked white! This is a restaurant standard. She sends it back and these cooks took the same eggs and fried them hard then put them back over the uncooked whites that had now ran into the hashbrowns (see pic). She forgot my toast but when I got it was burn beyond edible. The steak was hard like leather. Completely wells done not any pink at all. I will not be back here again! I would not recommend this...

Simply amazing!! I moved here recently from out of state and any time I asked locals here for a good breakfast spot, Virginia's would always be mentioned. I decided to finally give it a try around the 5 AM hour, and it was perfect! Wonderful service, DELICIOUS food, and a nice, comfy atmosphere!

The chef clearly knows what they're doing and is SUPER fast in delivering delicious Americana dishes. Servers here are on their A game even at 5 in the morning, super efficient and kind as can be! You can tell the staff here genuinely cares for their patrons, and the pricing is super modest, so you can really add on to your breakfast without breaking the bank.

The atmosphere here is cozy, cute, and casual, with a nice vintage flair. Genuinely everything you'd want in a comfy diner/cafe, I'll be coming here a...

The place is dull, well matching surrounding landscape and weather this cloudy November day. I came here thinking that 4.5 from 1000+ reviews should mean something. Well, if they say "3.6 - not great, not terrible", this place doesn't make it even up to this mark. Scrambled eggs were somewhat gummy, coffee barely tasted like coffee. The place is cheap by all means, and, I'm afraid, this is the case where it affects quality :( The only thing I liked was pancakes - they are really better than in many different places. If coffee was better, it probably would be 4 out of 5. Don't make our mistake, do not go there unless it's the closest place to you or you don't have any other choice.

A hole in the wall staple of Lincoln. First time visitor. Despite going during off-hours, very busy with locals. The charm of the place is there has not been much updating - needs a good cleaning at the least. Coffee - Folgers at best. Food - hot, tasteless, mid. We were given the wrong omelet at first, then brought the correct one. Pancake was good. Syrup not so much. Budget-friendly. Service: 4 Food: 3.5 Atmosphere: 3 I love hole in the walls - but they must be clean and not have a funky smell. I will go back at some point to give another chance.
