This our first time trying this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised! We tried the Burrito California and the Quesadilla Suprema, which were on special for St. Patrick's Day.....they were both fresh and delicious. The quesadilla has fresh stir fried veggies like broccoli and mushrooms. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful. It came with a delicious guacamole salad. The burrito was stuffed with chicken and sautéed onions, and was covered in a flavorful quest. The chips and salsa was fresh and additionally there was a salsa bar with a wonderful variety of sauces to try. The staff were hopping and working together to meet customer needs. Overall just a great eating experience! You will not leave hungry and receive amazing value for the your money.

I was told of this restaurant from a customer in South Carolina, Home Depot. Said it was real!!! Mexican food and since I lived there I must try it. Well I was having a bad day and my hubby thought to take us there because of the mans story. And he was right- the food is great; you could take home what you not ate or drank. Has nice outside seating too. I love Mexico and it's people and culture and since I was a little girl I made my own Mexican food because other Mexican restaurants do not know the food. Appetizers were so yummy and a very nice mango light alcohol drink with the meal was so good I wanted more then share one with my hubby.

The food was good. The customer service could have been better. I came in Mother’s Day weekend and they were giving out roses which was nice. Even though I wasn’t given one until I asked. I didn’t like the fact that the bathrooms are not just male or female. It felt unsafe to me using the restroom especially having a man waiting outside of the restroom to use it after me.

Wish I could give it zero stars. Me and my husband went to eat and everything is fine except the waiter didn’t pay attention when we ordered bc our food was messed up, we dealt with that and decided to just eat around what we asked we didn’t want. I ordered the lunch fajitas that included beef or chicken and rice and beans and veggies. I asked if I could just get shrimp and pay the difference he said yes. I got the shrimp fajitas like I wanted then asked for a side of lettuce and cheese he brought that out and everything was ok. We got our bill and it was almost double what we anticipated paying. They charged me for shrimp 3 times and a side salad that I never got. When I asked about the bill they laughed and started talking in Spanish but little did they know I was Puerto Rican and I told them I don’t appreciate the way they overcharged me and they kept laughing and then refused to give me my change back. This place needs to be looked at for taking our hard earned money and overcharging is for nothing. We were charged 6.99 for fajitas and 11$ for shrimp then 4& for lettuce and cheese without our knowledge! They are rude disrespectful the server was laughing in the back ground! I will never recommend them...

We have been to El Sombrero many times we have always enjoyed the food and service were always excellent. Last night June 27th we had friends with us so a party of four. We ordered 4 margeraties 1 large 1 med and 1 small. Now we didn't notice that two were large the waiter adjusted the price but made it clear it was our fault. Customer is always right first rule of customer service. Besides it was his error. Two of us ordered taco salads. One chicken and one beef. The meat was on the bottom so didn't know they were mixed up until we got to the bottom. Taco salad should have shredded lettuce pico dimo chopped tomato.. Sour cream and gucamoule This one was a regular salad with sour cream gucamoule and a slice of.tomato. When we brought the mistake of the salad the manager offered to give me one to take.home. ok so I asked him to wrap everything separate so as not to be a mess. Got home it was all together

This is not the way you treat your.customers They do get an A for social distancing Maybe it was an off night very...

Visited the Lincolnton, Ga location tonight to celebrate my birthday with my best friend. Ordered drinks and an order of wings hot and double fried. The waiter may have mistakenly left off the double fried or fried hard. The wings were not cooked right. We informed the waiter who immediately removed the wings. Wings were returned looking quite tasty. When we tasted the wings, there was a tainted after taste. Told the waiter wings were removed. Another gentleman comes to inform us that because the wings were removed and thrown away twice that we would have to pay for one order. He also informed us that the wings were thrown away. We refused to pay. Police was called. Three police cars arrived on the scene. We were banned from the restaurant. We offered to pay for our drinks and the wings we ate but the owner refused. People, we have a voice, make it heard by patronizing elsewhere. By the way, we were told to go to Habernero's in Lincolnton, which is where my family normally goes anyway. Spend your money where everyone...
