I recently had the pleasure of dining at a seafood restaurant that truly blew my expectations out of the water. The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the crab cakes; they were, without a doubt, the best I've ever eaten. Each bite was a perfect balance of tender crab meat, flavorful seasonings, and just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. I can still recall the delightful blend of flavors, and I may never forget how amazing they were. Alongside the crab cakes, I ordered a catfish filet that was the largest I’ve ever seen. It was cooked to perfection, with a golden-brown crust that added a satisfying crunch. The fish itself was flaky and incredibly fresh, making each bite a delightful experience. I found myself savoring every morsel, appreciating the care that went into preparing it. The hushpuppies were classic and comforting, complementing the meal nicely, but what really caught my attention was the shrimp. They were massive—each one was about the size of my palm! Juicy and succulent, they were seasoned just right and added a fantastic element to the meal. Overall, the experience was unforgettable, filled with delicious flavors and generous portions that I can’t wait to enjoy again.

Cozy, quiet. Busy, not crowded. Wheelchair friendly. View of marina, the lake. Two "starters" as entre ( see photos). A lot of mushrooms, well cooked. "Seared salmon with sesame coating" was served as medallions- RAW fish! Wasabi & teriyaki on plate made it palatable (NOT good). Coffee was good; Near impossible to get refills (cream & sugar "rationed". Three separate requests for more...). Plenty if staff; None gave me the time of day - NOT attentive. Finally, the bill ( photo). Two appetizers & coffee was over $28!! Was "surcharged" an extra dollar for NOT paying cash. SO- Not a family restaurant. Not for casual bite. Well rounded menu items but WAY overpriced. I may go back some day, for ambiance. Nothing else is appealing...

Went last weekend and it was packed. Another guest waiting said it was worth the 30 minute wait so we stayed and he was right. It's a very nice setting and comfortable environment. Great view of the lake and marina (that I wish I could fish) while dining. Service was a little slow but was expected for the amount of people. The server was attentive and friendly. Wish I could remember her name, just remember she was missing a finger (sorry). I ordered the catfish and it was dang good and will return for it. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and she was pleased as well. You get a lot of food for your buck. The prices seemed a little high until we seen the portion sizes. We drove 47 minutes to eat and will definitely be back.

I have over 1.6 million views on my reviewed posts and pictures combined! I believe that may substantiate some credibility of my reviews. Let me say that I don’t give 3 Stars or less often. Williemacs earned 1 star on this evening.

First let me say, the venue was nice and the service was nice. There was a young lady performing live music and it was not too loud. The location is fantastic. So why 1 Star?

We had reservations for a medium sized party (12 people). Drinks were ordered immediately. My next refill didn’t come till the meal was almost finished! We waited nearly 30 minutes to get our food, which is not too bad.

Then the food! I ordered their Pork Chops, Mac and Cheese, and Fried Okra.

The okra tasted as if it was a frozen packaged item. The Mac was bland and couldn’t even taste the cheese. My 7yo daughter said she couldn’t taste the cheese and didn’t like it. Let me reiterate, a 7yo child did not like the Mac and Cheese! It was very mushy and I had to add salt just to tolerate it! The pork chops tasted as if they were reheated. They were stale and a very tough/rubbery texture like left overs would be. Not a good meal!

Then the Shrimp Crepes, which sounded good; was 1 small crepe with 3 or 4 shrimp inside and a sauce over the top! $24 for the Shrimp crepe and the shrimp and grits was at least 4x the volume and a lower price! This does not make sense to me.

Then let’s talk price! My meal for my family and I (2 adults/2 Elementary children) was $72.

We got the following: 1 Diet Coke and 3 Waters Nachos SW Egg Rolls Kids Popcorn Shrimp and Fries Pork Chops Meal (w/Fried Okra and MacNCheese) NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!!

$18 for the pork chop meal! Where does the other $54 come from? Let me tell you!

We were charged an extra 4% for using card instead of cash. Then there was a Restaurant tax added to the bill on top of the sales tax. Then there was a 18% Gratuity automatically added to the bill for almost $10.

Then the business had the audacity to print a “Tip” line for us to add more tip on the signature receipt!

I drove 30 miles because this was the place to go! There was 12 of us altogether and only 1 of the meals looked like it was fair to ok!

Everything else was subpar!

Williemacs, for the price you have to do better! I have seen other reviews that has had similar experiences more than 11 months ago!

Do not blame me for giving a poor review as a one off, because this is not the case. Please don’t challenge my culinary expectations and experience as I have went to culinary school and am a qualified chef. I could’ve cooked all of those meals fresh in the same amount of time. In addition, I have traveled the World and my pallet is well refined and can taste poor quality very easy!

Take my criticism and feedback as gift and a tool to improve your craft and your quality! Someone like Gordon Ramsey would eat this location alive (metaphorically speaking)!

At this time I cannot, with a good conscience; recommend this location!

This location is a one and done for me and my family!

We wish you the best and hope you improve your quality...

Well where to start on July 18,2020 a group of us took a boat ride 1 hour 45 minute ride to This restaurant cause people said we should try it and the food was good, well we get there and yes we had to wait for a table for about 30-45 minutes which we could understand it was Saturday night. So we are finally called for our table, we sat at our table and finally a waitress came and took our drink order and we went ahead and placed our appetizer order, it took her 20 minutes to bring our drinks, from that point she never showed any kind of concern of our presence, one lady in our party had to continue to go to the bar to get our refills on sodas, water and 1 beer, finally the bartender gave her a water pitcher, the waitress never came back and asked us if we were ready to order we had to make her come to our table to take our order, we gave her our orders 30 minutes we had to request to get our salads, finally our appetizers came out and it was at least 15 minutes before she brought the salads, she proceeds to say she didn’t not know when our food would be out, no Apology! For the long wait, never came and check on us, to busy selling t shirts and going out side. Fast forward a bit, after sitting there for 2 hours and yes!! 2HOURS she came and told us there were 2 big tables ahead of ours and we watched people that came in and was seated 30 minutes or so AFTER we got there, receiving their food. This was unacceptable on all levels. No apologies from her or the manager only the bartender cause she knew we had to come to the bar and wait on our selves!! We ended up leaving but not before paying for what we ate. And for the RUDE waitress, your staff needs more training in more ways than one . Will not suggest this restaurant or...

I visited this restaurant on 24 May with family from out of town. We had been on the boat and decided to eat at this restaurant. When we entered my husband asked for a table near the window and Tatiana said that she couldn’t sit us there bc it was 6 of us and she couldn’t break up the tables. So I went to the ladies room and there weren’t any paper towels. When I came out i went up to the bar where Tatiana was standing and told her that the restroom needed some papers towels. She said very snippy with her hand up in a back up motion “I will get to it when I can” and very loud. I told her no rush I was just letting her know. My family heard her and said that she was very rude.

I work in the customer service industry and that was not good customer service. I understand that they were very busy at the time but I didn’t deserve that from her. I don’t know if that’s how she is but she can benefit from getting some customer service training. I wasn’t demanding anything of her I was just letting her know. They had just opened no more than an hour ago and they were already out of paper towels in the ladies bathroom.

I can recommend customer service training for Tatiana because she needs to know how to properly speak to people even in stressful situations. She snapped when I was simply telling her that the ladies restroom was out of paper towels.

The food was great but I didn’t like...
