East Texas Cafe and Cocktails — Restaurant in Lindale

I placed a to go order @1:11pm, she told me it would be a 35-45 min wait (not a problem) . I drove to Big Sandy and back thinking that the order was probably ready and getting cold, well they haven’t even started our order @2:09 pm, so we had to wait yet they told us they were sorry but a 20 head seat came in so they basically had to tend to them. I guess people that order over the phone don’t have any priorities of placement in the order line. So I call to speak to the manager or owner and get the same lady who states she is the manager and any and all complaints she will handle yet I’m getting nowhere with her cause of her defensive attitude. So I ask when the owner will be in to speak with and she informs me that they are trying to move to Colorado (Not the customers problem again). Why as a buisness owner would you let someone handle your customers complaints if they are not schooled in good...

Wanted to celebrate a couple of teachers who are retiring from HISD with lunch on the last full day of school. Called to see if we could order their food early since these teachers eat at 11:00. East Texas Cocktails doesn't usually begin cooking lunch until 11:00, but they were more than willing to accommodate my request. They started cooking the lunch we ordered at 10:30 in order to have it picked up by 10:45 and delivered to the teachers by 11:00.

Thank you Jennifer, Casey, and the Kitchen Manager (I didn't get their name) for being so wonderfully helpful! The food was delicious and the kindness you offered cooking early was greatly appreciated!

Delicious food and extremely awesome service. The amount of reviews do not do this place justice, so I will be adding a review of my own to help you to a great eating experience.

We really enjoyed eating here. We started off with bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos(delicious). Both me and my wife were so very impressed with our burgers. The meat was very flavorful and very tender. The onion rings and fries were good too.
