We went on Saturday morning for the first time. No sign as to whether we wait or seat ourselves. Waited a few minutes before someone came. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have egg & pancake combo, but just ordered both. 1 egg with hashbrowns, bacon and toast, and then a short stack of pancakes. When the food was delivered, waitress brought out an extra plate of bacon, which we didn't order but not my pancakes. She took back the bacon and brought the pancakes. I was disappointed in the eggs as they were mostly egg whites. Bacon was great! I am not usually a fan of hash browns, but these were very good, as were the pancakes. Had to flag her down for more coffee and water, and then for our bill. When I checked the bill, I remembered that I was supposed have toast, which I never received. When I mentioned it while I was paying, she didn't say much at all. I made a comment that she didn't deduct anything for that, and she didn't say anything. I told her that it was our first time and I was not impressed and that we wouldn't be back, and again she said nothing. About an hour later, I couldn't find my credit card, and guess where it was! I went back, and when I walked in she walked up to me with it with a weird smile on her face, and said.......

We had a wonderful experience at Eggspress in Lindenhurst. The service and ambiance were exceptional, definitely deserving of 5 stars. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure our visit was comfortable and enjoyable.

The breakfast dishes we tried were simply delicious. From classic options like scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and fluffy pancakes, to more innovative creations like Eggs Benedict, every bite was a true delight. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every tasty bite.

Furthermore, the restaurant was impeccably clean and had charming decor that created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The soft background music added the perfect touch for enjoying pleasant conversation while savoring our breakfast.

I know this place just opened, but I was very excited to support local business and had a very poor experience simply trying to order some thing to go. First of all, there is no phone number on their website or Facebook or anywhere on the Internet to be able to call and place an order. So I went there in person, placed my order and was told it would be about 25 minutes. No problem, I know they were busy and I saw that they were very understaffed. In fact I had to go find someone just a place to go order, has no one noticed me or asked me if I needed anything for about 10 minutes. I left and came back to pick up my order, and it was another 30 minutes before it was done, and once again I had to go hunt down somebody to simply ask about it. I don’t know what it is about this restaurant location, but I have had similar experiences at each one of the places that has taken up residence in this spot. I really want something to succeed there, but it is really frustrating to want to go back when this is the experience.
