Tried this place out the other day. While trying to decide what to order, one gentleman comes up to the window to ask what he could get for me. Me, being the most indecisive person ever when it comes to ice cream... says, "Ummm..." he said, "We don't serve umm's here" 🤣 He asked me what I usually go for and me being a weirdo that's obsessed with a "Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana Milkshake" told him that. He said, "Absolutely I can do that for you". I completely forgot to tell him I prefer an actual banana, because a few other places I've been use a banana syrup that to me tastes fake and is sickening. Luckily, they make their own ice cream HOMEMADE in the back. I was able to see the Owner as well, it was a very friendly, back and forth interaction with the both of them. Definitely more of what we need in this world, I love how they took their time to talk to me, instead of some other ice cream places that don't even bother to communicate with their customers. Communication and friendliness is key when you want people to return, it's a memorable experience and I appreciated them taking the time. Ice cream was great, creamy, flavorful... I was able to try a few samples and loved each one. I'll definitely return with the...
Read moreWent here tonight to get my boyfriends mother ice cream. Stood in line for TWENTY MINUTES. Ppl in front of me were waiting a half hour and their where two their couples waiting 15 minutes for just ice cream in cups. Three teens came and went to window , one female and young male yelled they were drunk and started talking to little girl that worked there. She literally severed them with out charging them while six other paying customers have been waitiNg 20-30 minutes for ice cream. I spoke up telling her that it was not right to serve ppl (her family as she put it) while PAYING customers have been waiting up to 30 minutes. She became very rude and thought it was funny. This was a go to place but no more. I will say though the other girl was working and taking care of customers while the others young girl was having...
Read moreWe stopped here for a milkshake and gelati. I ordered a gelati with Cherry and blue raspberry water ice and vanilla custard. The custard had a plastic taste to it and didn’t pair well with the near flavorless blue raspberry water ice.
The Cherry water ice was better and had a good flavor. That actually paired well with the vanilla custard. Other than that we bought a bottle of water which was a big box store brand.
The prices seemed fair…$5.10 for a large gelati and the same price for the large milkshake. I would however, say that they were not large in comparison to other places. I think they were more like medium at best. I would like to return to try their ice cream sandwich.
My husband got the butter beer milkshake which was the whole reason we went there. He said it was very good but could’ve easily had...
