Matt’s Pizza — Restaurant in Lindenwold

It looks like we found ourselves a new pizza spot. We love local and had called for the first time the owner was super nice he read me all the specials, I did ask if they had white pizza and sold by the slice or if I had to get a pie he did say it’s by pie, which is fine most pizza places are. I told him it was okay cause I only had one kid in the house that liked it anyway, he than said you no what I’ll have a suprise for you I did tell him that was so very kind but they didn’t need to go out of there way. When my husband came home with the food the whole family tore into it, not only was the customer service top notch the food was amazing and the price was great as well, seriously everyone check them out I was really surprised there prices for there specials and to top it off they made a personal white pizza pie for my one child and did it on the house.( I was surprised and would have had no problem paying for it) thank you Matt’s pizza we will definitely be back and I will definitely spread the word. The CUSTOMER SERVICE was great! Very nice manager and answered questions without an attitude or issue. I asked for my chicken cheese steak to be made with chicken breast chopped fine, instead of the frozen flat steak and they did. I also ordered chicken tenders and french fries.

Chicken cheesesteak: It was ok, but I definitely miss Pat’s because it had more meat for the same price, chopped in smaller pieces and there were no hard pieces within the chicken breast. 4/10 rating

Chicken tenders: The menu says $8.99 for 3 chicken tenders, but there’s no fries that come with it. I had to ask for fries. When I got the chicken tenders they are more like long chicken nuggets and I was disappointed because $8.99 is expensive for 3 chicken tenders of THAT quality. The fries were just ok.

Great service with a really good staff and a cozy dining area. But that's where the praise ends. I actually feel bad for being dishonest when asked how was the food when we were leaving. I said it was good. Pizza sauce was good along with the cheese but the dough felt like it was processed and frozen. Pizza crust is critical for good slice of pizza! The Philly cheese steak was cooked really well but meat tasted like it was a step above frozen steakum. Now for the buffalo wings, processed already bought breaded wings or at least they tasted like them fatty processed breading. Having said that, the cook in the back cooked orders nice n hot and efficiently. Kudos to him. Overall all 3 meals eaten yesterday felt like ingredients were processed and not quality.
