Mama Mia Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lino Lakes

I think this place is worth a try. Staff were pretty friendly, they’re stingy with their toppings, a bit pricy for sides. A Small container of Guacamole is $4, for example. The food is nothing spectacular, just basic, and the meat lacks quality flavor. The meat is mostly drenched in grease and salt. I was only able to eat a few bites because of there being too much grease and it completely overpowered everything else, which was so little of it to begin with.

What irritated me the most was having us wait for our boba drink while serving 6 other customers who came after us. The guy at the register said he’d get our drink after the man behind us. Fine, no problem. Well multiple people starting coming in. A total of 6 to be exact and we ended up getting the boba drink after each of their orders were made and paid for. I also was charged extra for my burrito bowl. I wouldn’t call this place authentic, but If it’s all you know, then I’m sorry.

Unfortunately I will not come here again

Edit: In response to the owners comment, congratulations on multitasking. I’d expect new customers to be treated the same as your regulars regardless, but that’s just me. If it’s going to take more than 10min for a simple drink then say that. I’ve never been to your establishment and all I saw was you serve your 6 “regulars” while waiting until they were done to work on our drink. Try this: “sorry for the wait or thank you for your patience” Customer service...

I regret going here. I will not return. If it was free, I would not go back.

I went here excited to try out and support a newish local burrito joint. Atmosphere was nice very decorative and fun. Seemed very clean. I ended up going in on a Monday (3/27/23) afternoon at about lunchtime.

I went in for a Chicken burrito and came out with a... " I don't known what kind of meat they gave me" burrito.

I ordered a burrito, and I was never asked what kind of meat I wanted. It was not like there was a long line, or something and they were trying to hurry me through. There was no one in line except me. They just kinda made it. They did ask if I wanted sour cream, and cheese that was nice.

I was very disappointed, the meat tasted funny to me, it was almost like spaghetti in the way it was kind of long and stringy. Also when I chewed it, it did not break down almost like it...

!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!! Mexican food is my favorite, and craving carne asada tacos, so I stopped into Mama Mias in Lino Lakes and ordered 3 tacos, and guacamole! I received 3 tiny tacos with barely any meat, pico, or their "hottest" hot sauce (which wasn't hot)!!! A small container of guacamole. I'm more than familiar with Mexican food being from California, and spending a lot of time in Mexico, plus trying out many Mexican restaurants in Minnesota, and many more on my travels around the country, and these were the saddest tacos I've ever had!!!! Stay clear and go to Don Julio's, or Fiesta Grill. I guess I have to leave one star so I can post this 🙄 The following in response to the owners.... YOUR TACO FILLINGS AMOUNT TO NOTHING SHORT OF A JOKE!!!!!! I DONT MIND SPENDING MONEY IF I GET SOMETHING FOR IT!!!! GOOD LUCK...
