My wife and I went to Pondi's but it was so packed we decided to give Cantina 70 a try as I had remembered reading good things. Wow. Absolutely awesome. The exterior is a bit unassuming with kind of a speak easy entrance, but once you come in the atmosphere is really beautiful with lots of custom glass work lighting that really give it a unique and upscale feel. This was not just your standard small town Ohio Mexican food slop, this was fresh Mexican cuisine bursting with flavor. Just incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well executed. We had planned on just getting a drink and sharing an app but it was so good we kept wanting to try more things.

What we had: -Chips and Salsa(Salsa has a great balanced heat and chips were made in clean oil) -Pina Colada, Texas Margarita(Both drinks were fresh and well balanced) -Quesabirrias(delicious little mini fried corn tacos with shredded beef, onion and fresh cilantro to dress, and a soup to dip them in. Absolutely delicious) -Cantina Fries: Perfectly cooked crispy golden brown fries covered with shrimp, shredded beef, and chorizo topped with a cheese sauce and fresh pico. I got the choripollo and requested a guac salad instead of rice and beans. Which they accommodated. However they did not tell me it was a $2 upcharge. Which I find annoying. It was supposed to come with tortillas. And it did not. So I ate it with chips. The choripollo itself was okay. My friend got a burrito that had some sort of red sauce on it that just straight up tasted like marinara sauce. Very mediocre. When you walk in, it's very cramped and there is no sign saying to seat yourself or wait to be seated. It's confusing. And then the hostess stand is all the way across the room.
