East of Chicago — Restaurant in Lisbon

We came for the buffet at 7:15 (ends at 8) and were a little worried it might be old and picked over. Not the case. It was a decent pizza buffet and was even better after the waitress (and I believe owner) asked us what pizzas we wanted on the buffet and made us multiple fresh pizzas. They also had a salad bar and deserts that were very good. The service was great for how busy it was and the amount of people that were working. We haven't had a pizza buffet since CiCi's in Niles was open so we had low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. We also thought it was a very fair price at under $10 per person + drink. They had bottled water which is important to me. We will definitely be back and I'm hoping they keep the buffet open for a long time. Thanks for the great food...

From outside the place looked tiny but when we walked in, there's plenty of room for their dining area. This is the only East of Chicago pizza place that has a buffet. We drove from Cleveland area to go there! The staff was friendly & we got seated right away. Their buffet consisted of 2 soups (chicken noodle & broccoli cheese), a small salad bar with numerous toppings. The pizza part had 5-7 different kinds of pizza & hot baked subs to choose from. Plus, for dessert, it was cinnasticks drizzled with white frosting. The only thing that was very frustrating was being stared at by another table for most of our dining experience. Haven't been there for years,we used to go there frequently in the past,my daughter is allergic to wheat and we used to take an alternative crust with us and they would use it and make her a pizza of her choice,the two of us decided to go there and were not let down their buffet is the best deal for the money I've seen for a long time,they will make a pizza to your liking on the buffet,just ask,nice salad making chance with two kinds of soup, please check them out you won't be let down,it's truly a bargain...
