I am usually treated very courteously by everybody whenever I go the drive thru, but the last time i was there was very different. I was handed a lg cup of coffee and when i took it(by the cup not the lid) the lid popped off because it evidently wasn't put on properly and scalding hot coffee ran down my hand and wrist, burning it. The young man who handed to me at first made no attempt to help me at all and i sat there screaming ouch until the manager came and took it. Instead of asking me if I was alright or saying even "sorry", he instead laughed and said "It wasn't even that hot". Ok. I said that indeed it was hot and that was then the poor manager intervened and apologetically said she was going to wipe off my car and I said no, she didn't need to do that. I was so concerned with the pain and shocked at the way the kid talked to me I couldn't say any more and went home. But before i left i had my husband take a picture of my hand and arm. What they did not know was that I have Fibromyalgia which affects your nervous system and causes a great deal of pain without being burned/scalded. But add the hot burning and it affects me a lot more than most people. I should have complained but as I we got there every day I was concerned we might be treated differently. I even wrote down the number of the owner but I let it go, but then regretted it. I wasn't looking for money or anything, I just wanted the young man's behavior addressed. He really needed at the least some customer service training. He actually said more rude things to the manager but i really can't remember enough because I was in pain and just wanted to go home. I must say except for this bad experience on the whole I've had good service though.
Update: I just want to add that I get my father's coffee here every morning and have never had a problem like that again. Everybody is always courteous. The problem was the kid...
Read moreSo today was yet another reason why I remembered I don't usually eat at McDonald's. My two meals that I ordered one of them was cold right out the gate any other one was not fresh like I was led to believe that they had to make them my fries for both we're cold so two cheeseburgers and two medium fries all cold. Luckily the cheeseburgers were for my dogs. They just got the meat and the cheese but regardless it was all still cold. Just another reason again why I don't eat at McDonald's. And you guys don't give napkins you too cheap to give napkins $25 order and I don't get napkins either. You know I used to work at a McDonald's when we had to make sure food was hot and like most of them it was my first job way back when period but today you're overcharged, food is cold, and the buns are bigger than the burgers. And 25.00 is a bit too much for that garbage and please take those nasty french fries off your menu or exchange them. This location was Lisbon falls and the way the drive-thru is is ridiculous you have your drive-thru line going through and in and out of the parking lot which is completely absurd. And I don't know how you have lines going that long because your food is not that good period as for your cheeseburgers that I got for my dogs they wouldn't even eat them. You just slap stuff together and call it a good sandwich. What happened to pride what happened to dignity what happened to giving customers the quality that...
Read moreIf I could give a 0 I would. This location constantly parks people, which is understandable if it was just a few time occurrence, but this location does it CONSTANTLY to âsave their times.â McDonaldâs is a fast food restaurant, the key words were FAST FOOD. They care more about times than their customers. Now the issue that arose today is that the manager had put my coffee in wrong and when I politely told her it wasnât what I had ordered she told me, âwell thatâs what you said.â And hesitantly remade it after her accusation. After it was remade I was parked for my food for almost 10 minutes and then drove home and got the wrong order. I was then told I had to go back through their packed to the road drive thru and was once again accused of saying soemthing different than I said. A receipt was not given, and I was told âthatâs not what you ordered.â What ever happened to the customer was always right, I couldnât not believe the managers audacity. I have worked at this location for 1 year prior and I feel as though she only spoke to me this way as she knew I worked here in the past. The accusatory and rude actions make it hard to forgive two mistakes. New...
