I wish I could give them 100 stars. My son got married yesterday, I was in charge of the wedding cake, we drove 50 miles with the cake, when we turned the corner on the last street the cake tipped over smashing the icing in several places, it was ruined. Not from being from the area and my son hadn’t lived there long we had no idea who to call. Lucky for me I called Sweet Spot Bakery, explained the situation without hesitation they said bring it in and we will see what we can do. Now I had not purchased the cake from them nor had I ever been there before. It was Saturday morning the place was pretty busy, we were greeted by the friendliest staff, they brought us in the back looked at the cake and said simple fix this will be no problem. As you can imagine I was hysterical and they kept reassuring me we can make it beautiful again. We left leaving them a smashed ruined cake. Went back less than 2 hours later and there stood this beautiful cake, however this was not an easy fix as they had insisted it still was, they had removed all the frosting and re-frosted the whole cake and packaged it correctly and sent us on our way. I cannot believe how the 3 of them went out of their way to help a stranger. Not only did it look beautiful it tasted great. We need a wedding cake in September and we know where we are going. I have given this place so many tries and have always been disappointed. To be clear this is what I’ve gotten in the past: cupcakes, cookies, the cake balls, mini pies, and the loaves. The cupcakes today were so dry despite the young girl at the front telling me they were made fresh. They were most definitely not baked today. Perhaps frosted today but as a pastry chef I can tell you those were not baked today. The cinnamon roll was tough and bland, not soft and fluffy at all with such minimum cinnamon filling. The frosting was the only good part of it. The recipes need a lot of reworking. Everything we bought this morning went in the trash. We don’t come often but I’ve probably been here a handful of times in the last 3-4 years. I always give places several chances before reviewing as I do think that 1 bad experience does not warrant a bad review. But bakeries need to take ownership of what they produce. I specifically asked what was baked fresh this morning and thats what I bought. Please rework your recipes, especially the cupcakes and cinnamon rolls. I’m sorry we will...

After picking up my 65th birthday cake that we ordered last week I am quite disappointed in the workmanship that was done when we placed our order a week ago we showed them the picture of my wife's 60th birthday cake attached they also produced for us we are very happy with that I have it also in the pictures for comparison after picking up my 65th birthday cake today and bring it at home I was quite surprised to see how unprofessionally it was decorated it looks like it was done by a 5yo or someone that had no experience I believe the level of decoration would be surpassed by a Jewel or Myers cake I'm so disappointed with their workmanship and over $50+$$ they have lost any furture orders from us over such a special occasion considering it is my 65th so disappointed something has definitely changed with the quality...
