Jason (the owner) welcomed me enthusiastically into his clean and simple roastery and cafe. Jason's knowledge in bean sourcing, harvesting, roasting, and brewing was evident once I tried his overnight Burundi cold brew with its bursts of floral and berry notes. The coffee was so subtle and nuanced that I also bought a pound of the same Burundi beans used in the cold brew, which he roasts in house. Besides coffee, Jason had a delightful array of local pastries and if time had allowed, I could have enjoyed the outside seating located just behind the cafe.

Read morePretty good place. Good espresso and I enjoy the selection of beans from various countries. I’ve been several times all at least a couple weeks apart. Each time I asked for a small lid on the double espresso because it fills the cup the brim and it’s a bit challenging to drive with it. Today it went all over my lap. Each time they said they would order lids. I just think they could a better job following through on a simple request to make a customer experience better. They also need to open up at 7am like Arethusa down the street. I prefer this place to arethusa because of the unique variety of beans but they open too late.
