We've been here a few times before and I'll admit that prior to the "pandemic," they were much better.

We showed up with a party of twelve (reservations had been made) on Sunday 3 April 2022. They had adequate seating for us in the back room; albeit, in two different banquets. We made one work, but it was cramped.

The waitstaff was courteous enough. However, the senior member of staff seemed unable to grasp the idea of making an sampling appetizer tray suitable for us all to share. First time I've ever had that happen in a restaurant. I can only assume that they wanted everyone to order their own appetizer so they'd make more. Who knows? But, the "rib tickler" appetizer is all of two ribs. I didn't see how that was enough for us all to try, so we ordered a whole rack as an appetizer.

We got through it.

Main course: No one had a hot/warm meal served to them. I was the only one crass enough to ask to have my brisket re-warmed. After the meal I asked how everyone enjoyed their time and they said that it wasn't on their list to do again.

Pretty expensive; mundane food, good waitstaff. The saying up here is that they used to milk cows in Litchfield county, now they milk New Yorkers. Well, I'm from CT and I was pretty well drained dry.

I hope they get back into form. Before COVID, it was good. After the COVID,...

This place has gone down hill A LOT in the last few years, I used to get food here regularly a few years ago. First off don't trust their website, I was absolutely shocked when we got there to find the menu prices are at least 50% higher than stated on the website. They also gave us the dinner menu (higher prices) during lunch hours and we had to ask for the lunch menu. We ordered the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches with sweet potato fries. The pulled pork sandwich was very light on the meat and dry/chewy, it needed a lot of sauce to eat. The sweet potato fries were absolutely disgusting, undercooked, gross black and brown spots and they didn't even clean/peel the potatoes and imagine my shock when we were charged an additional dollar for the sweet potato fries with each meal. The waitress didn't even warn us and it didn't say anything about an upcharge on the menu. They also charged 3.50 for a fountain soda. So for 2 people to have lunch it ended up costing 45+ dollars with tip. On top of all that I had serious stomach problems for the rest of the day after eating the food. The place is dark, filthy and the place is falling apart. They should be ashamed of the food they serve here. Absolutely abysmal...

We were so excited to eat here as many have said it’s so good. Disappointing is being nice about it. All the smoked meats we had ( ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork and Kabasa) had ZERO smoke flavor and no classic smoke ring or bark and were all dry! The 18hr smoked brisket seemed like it was just corn beef out of a slow cooker . The pulled pork tacos were so watery the shells turned to mush with lukewarm warm refried beans. Even the salsa was just canned tomatoes with no onions/garlic or any flavor. The jalapeño poppers were you run of the mill any grocery store, frozen generic poppers. The cornbread with jalapeño had no peppers in it and was definitely left out too long and dry out. The only thing that was somewhat good was the pork belly appetizer drowned in sauce . The woman’s bathroom was FILTHY with sticky floors and soap streaming into the garbage can below. The nasty wall to wall carpet is definitely due to be changed throughout the place. The staff was friendly but that was the only good we could point out. What a shame and not worth...

Prepare to be blown away! This place is a culinary gem that has truly mastered the art of barbecue. Liz, you’ve absolutely nailed it! The pulled pork is incredibly moist and bursting with flavor, quickly becoming my new obsession. I can’t recommend their special Pulled Pork Secret Sauce enough—it’s a perfect blend of vinegar, pepper, and an explosion of taste. The burnt ends? Pure perfection, definitely a 10/10 that I’ll be ordering again. Combining outstanding BBQ with Mexican flair, this is the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again. If you had to choose a last meal, this would ensure you go out with a huge smile on your face! Highly recommended!

If you want fancy this isn’t it , but if your a lover authentic Tex mex BBQ this is your place . It’s a very relaxed atmosphere with a solid following . I had the Burnt ends with baked beans and the best battered fries this world has to offer. my wife had a really good cheese burger and garden salad. Our waitress was friendly and attentive . Everything was exactly as it should be and the house sauces were delicious . This place earned my business in a zillion different ways . I’ve been to allot of different BBQ places all over the country and this place is legit in all the right spots . Delicious down home cooking .

Absolteutly BOMB ribs. Fall off the bone is absolutely right, delicious, great sauce (and the 1/3 rack I brought home was great the next day too). Super friendly service, food came out quick and the waitress and bartender were really kind. The margs flavor wise were very good (though they were a little weak), don't let that stop you from getting the best BBQ around. Oh and the absolute best cornbread I've had in my life (fluffy but with flavor, doesn't fall apart, but not too cake like)
