I had to fly out this trip with a sprained and fractured ankle (I couldn’t walk on it at all). I rolled in to the store on my one leg scooter and wait in line for forever. I ordered a hot lavender matcha latte. Takes a while to come out. When it does, I can smell the coffee through the lid. I take a sip—tastes like coffee with lavender. I asked the girl behind the counter if my drink was matcha. She stares at me for a second and I say hesitantly (starting to think maybe they just made it poorly and it just is bad-tasting matcha), “I ordered matcha, but it kind of tastes like coffee.” Without thinking, she says, “Oh yeah, it’s matcha.” I clumsily wheel off, now with one hand clutching the coffee. I get back to my gate, taste it again, open the lid, and confirm that they in fact gave me coffee. I stumble my way back, go to the counter (no customer was at the counter other than me, and there were four people working), but they ignore me for a bit. Finally I just speak up and tell them that I was right, I was given coffee. They don’t apologize, just pour my drink out and say, “Ok we will remake your drink.” I say, “Yes and I would like a refund as well.” They don’t even acknowledge me, so I wheel to the cashier and tell her what happened. She was the only nice, customer-service oriented person working at that time (7/15/2025 at about 12:30 pm). Her name was Liz and she was very sweet and apologetic, and honestly she deserves a raise, if only for the fact that she has to put up with her coworkers all day. When the others saw that she was also giving me a refund, they refused to make my drink, so she said she would do it for me. I was stunned. The three others do not belong in the service industry. Liz made me my matcha and apologized again. Then I got to struggle back to my gate once more. I would like to clarify that I did not once raise my voice or act like a “Karen” in this experience. I felt like I was in some alternate reality where they just threw random people in a Starbucks and told them to try their hand at working for the first time in...
Read moreI was flying out really early yesterday and I decided to give Starbucks another try.. I was greated by 3 super friendly ladies that exceeded all of my expectations. Kimber took my order and I was pleasantly surprised because she actually listened to my order and repeated to make sure that my extravagant order was entered correctly. I cashed out and then waited several minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. Mary called my name, repeated drink order and then proceeded to wish me safe travels. I fly several times a month for business and I will definitely be back in hopes of seeing these ladies and receiving the same great service. Thank you for restoring my faith in Starbucks, customer service and...
Read moreI wish I could give this a higher rating. I went to Starbucks at the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport, and decided to eat Starbucks. Strawberry açaí refresher Chocolate and Birthday cake pop Pink drink Ham and cheese sandwich The person serving us there was nice but very inefficient. I ended up getting the Strawberry cream cake pop and the turkey with egg sandwich. My cousin ended up with vanilla bean drink...
