Charming Fig — Restaurant in Livermore

I ordered the Whipped Goat cheese salad and paid to add chicken. I had it to go but when I got home, I realized when I opened it that there was no chicken. The salad was $18 and I paid an extra $4 for the chicken. I have tried to call to rectify the situation at 12:30 today and no one was picking up the phone. There wasn't even a voicemail to leave any messages. I wasn't about to drive back there so I was just hoping to get a credit for the chicken that they forgot to add. I have called 7 times in the span of 20 minutes and no one is still picking up the phone. I am giving them the chance to rectify the situation but I am just annoyed at this point and hungry so I need to eat. I took a picture of the salad with my receipt to prove that I paid for it. I’m so happy that Charming Fig is open again after the fire! The menu is beautiful, and there’s some thing for everyone. I’ve never had a bad thing to eat there.

I love the space - It’s open and airy, but still plenty of room for people to sit and visit and enjoy their meal. I’d absolutely consider hosting an event there if I needed a venue - it’s beautiful.

My only complaint is that on multiple occasions, I have had someone try and clear my plate while I was still eating. On our last visit, it happened to the table next to us as well. Normally, I would assume that they needed the plates back because they were busy. But that wasn’t the case here. There were still many tables open. We had breakfast here today for the first time and let me tell you I felt like I have been missing out! The atmosphere was adorable as it was so cutesily decorated for the Holidays with both a festive and classy touch. When it came time for the food and coffee I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of ingredients as well as the flavors. The avocado toast was filling and so flavorful. We also tried an apple coffee cake slice which was amazing. Not to mention, the staff was so friendly and personable.
