Coffee in The Valley — Restaurant in Liverpool Township

I've gone here since they opened, at least once a week. The past few times the service and employees have been horrible. I got asked to go to the window to order, since they couldnt hear me (this happens often) I ordered my 2 drinks and 3 sandwiches. I was brought a green tea, when I ordered 2 large iced coffees. I told the girl that wasn't mine, and that i ordered coffees. She apologized, then 5 minutes later, same girl came back with the same drink...so again, told her that wasn't mine. Finally got my drinks and sandwiches. There were only 2 and not 3 sandwiches. So I pulled to the side, went in and mentioned there were only 2 and not 3. She rudely stated I only ordered 2, and I said no, I had 3. Then I was asked to pay the $4 for the missing sandwich, in which, I had no problem paying for the missing one. I then asked to speak to the owner, when 3 girls chimed in and said it was uncalled for and inappropriate to ask for the owner. I just wanted to express my concern about how poorly everything was being handled. So they asked me to go to my car and they would bring the missing sandwich out. About 15 minutes later, the girl brings out my missing food. I said thank you, and she YELLED at me saying "You're attitude isn't allowed here and that it was extremely uncalled for to ask for the owner. And its a holiday and we are getting slammed." (When I was inside there were maybe 5 people) I said, "I'm sorry, I just wanted to express my concern." And then I asked her for her name, she turned around without saying anything and went right back into the building. Poor customer service, and poor attitude from employees. Went around 1pm on a Saturday. That day, it turns out, they were closing at 2pm to allow their staff to get ready for and attend the local homecoming celebrations (I love a place who knows the value of their team members). Staff seemed happy and were definitely polite to customers. Drinks were ready pretty quickly, but sandwiches took a little longer than I would expect even for being freshly made. The sandwiches were tasty (I tried an egg, sausage & cheese bagel sandwich and my wife had a pesto sandwich), but kind of smallish for me (I probably should have ordered two bagel sandwiches, as they are priced VERY reasonably). The drinks were ok, my wife loved her drink (Some kind of blended drink with a foamy cream on top). I got a strawberry banana smoothie which was pretty generic (they're a coffee place after all), and the smoothie still had 4 or 5 whole ice cubes in the cup when I was done. The atmosphere was very inviting with tons of seating styles and options, including seating available in the vault (former bank). Sturdy chairs, as a very large person I felt very comfortable. Very clean place. All in all definitely going to go to again, but I just couldn't give the 5th star due to service time (we were getting everything to go) and the not fully smooth smoothie. I had a bagel, egg, ham and pepper jack cheese sandwich that was phenomenal!

I also had a slice of the chocolate banana bread, absolutely incredible, my only complaint was they put the items in the same bag so the chocolate melted and it was a mess in the bag.

Staff is friendly and I feel bad for giving 2 stars but I can’t judge a place on just their staff. Unfortunately, and I genuinely mean this, it was one of the worst coffees I have ever had.

Some how they were able to make the iced maple cinnamon latte taste watered down before the ice even melted?

I judge ever single place on their coffee with a small hot vanilla latte. Needless to say, I spilled out.

Either their beans are garbage or their extraction is completely off. The milk was slightly over steamed and not textured correctly.
