I always love coming here with my family! The food is always good, it's a nice quiet environment, very clean, waiter's and waitresses are always prompt and polite, a very good sized selection on the buffet, and even on the menu. If you're looking for a place that is really good, and well family rounded, this is the place! They have a to go buffet as well, that way if you still want to eat something good and somewhat healthier than anything around here but dont have much time, just ask for a to go buffet, pay for it, get what you want and go! It's a very big convenience! To me personally, the corn nuggets, wontons, princess chicken, pepper steak, egg rolls, general tso's chicken, egg drop soup, banana pudding, watermelon, peaches, and tomato and cucumber mixture are my personal favorites! The drinks are always full of flavor and crispy too! Just right 👌🤙! And the sweet tea tastes super good and (how I describe it) nectary (it's not a legit word but yall are just gonna have to deal with it lol.) I always look forward to coming here for dinner! And hey, if maybe if you're trying to take someone out on a date, this is a good spot too! Not only do they have their regular buffet and their dessert buffet, they also have ice cream and SUSHI!!! I've never tried the sushi though so dont take my full word about that. The sushi just depends on you as an individual. Sushi just isn't in my preferred eating list wherever I go. But hey, if everything else is good, I'd imagine the...
Read moreI'm in Livingston, TX for the weekend, staying in a hotel. I ordered sesame beef and hot and sour soup to go today at 3:00 pm. I originally wrote a bad review because I got sick. However, I am the kind of person that always wants to be fair. This morning someone from the restaurant found me at the hotel I am staying at concerned that I was sick. She brought me flowers and was truly professional and kind. There have been no other reports of anyone who has gotten sick. After she left, my son called me and asked if I was sick because he and my grandson had been throwing up. So I am changing my review because I must have a little stomach flu that I was unaware of. I spent time with my son and grandson right before I left on this trip. So even though I cannot leave a review for taste (as my taste was off due to being sick), I will leave a review to share that the service was prompt. The pricing was more than fair. The food was properly hot. The sesame beef was crisp on the outside and soft inside. The rice was a tad bit dry, but nice consistency. The soup was hot. I have a culinary degree so I can vouch for presentation and proper temperatures. I am very impressed that this restaurant cared enough in this small town to find me and give me flowers. That is unheard of. If you stop through Livingston, TX, eat here, the buffet...
Read moreCame in a not-so-busy time of the evening. Service itself was decent, timing was good for an empty place (when it comes to dine-in customers) but... They forgot a couple of items that we ordered, one of the dishes was a bit too salty, and greasy, thus making a person sick. The other items on the menu were okay, the best one was the Hong Kong Noodles. If it was my own personal experience in here, this restaurant could have gotten a 4 star review, but given how the other people that came along me didn't have such great time in the end, and they could have rated it 1 or 2 stars, I am downgrading my review to 3 stars... Which is not bad. I would recommend not to go on extremes like under or over seasoning dishes, and to actually have a more convincing smile when taking orders if you are aiming for a 5...
