Stopped here for lunch and so glad we did! It was decorated so well with a long wall full of items for sale. The menu was simple and straightforward, the tables and chairs were so unique and adorable. My kids loved dining here, so did my friend and I. The broccoli cheddar soup was amazing, and I could tell it was made from scratch. Perfectly made. The sandwiches were made with thick and soft bread and the owner was so welcoming and friendly. I am looking forward to grabbing a specialty coffee and some dessert from this bakery, the drink menu is impressive! Do not pass by this restaurant if you’re in town for breakfast or lunch, you’d be missing out!

Anyone that knows me already knows I prefer my small town local establishments over the chain restaurants & that being said Ruby & Lee fits the definition of small town home feel with just the right amount of sweet southern sass & great customer service. If you get the opportunity to check this little slice of amazing out do so; you want be disappointed no matter what you choose to try but I do highly recommend the coffees & sweets as any I've tried are truly great but my all time favorites for a quick bite has to be their jalapeño pimento cheese and/or the macaroni salad!!!

I met up with a friend to have lunch here, and it was lovely. We both got chicken salad sliders, mine was traditional and hers had onions and pecans. I also had a cinnamon roll that was delicious. We both got some desserts to take with us. I got a Butter Pecan cupcake that was really good. All of the staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I was a little bummed that only one staff person that I saw was wearing a mask.

I really enjoy coming into this place and trying out the foods…. Personally I recommend the Pecan and Onion Chicken salad, it will literally make your tongue beat your brains out. I believe I could eat buckets of it. And the the yeast roll…. OMG! Yum. The pastries, cinnamon rolls, scones, cakes, cookies and cheesecakes are AMAZING for reasonable prices. All of the items at the bakery, I found out are made in house so that very impressive and definitely shows that the talent in the business. I’m still trying to get the recipe for the Fruit tea but that’s locked up like Fort Knox, an old family recipe which reinforces the nostalgia feeling. The staff has always been friendly with me even with me asking tons of questions about everything…. I highly recommend...

Ruby & Lee has large portion sizes and anything I’ve ever had was great. I usually get the special iced coffee of the month and some baked good for breakfast or a snack. I’ve had the BLT for lunch and it was honestly so big I couldn’t finish it! I would have preferred mayo on it already rather than a small pack of mayo but that’s a tiny issue for me. They have cake auctions on their Facebook occasionally and those are quite yummy too. This bakery is small and locally owned and in a really cute, rustic building…it’s just what you would expect from a small town. Worth checking...
