I wasn’t the biggest fan of the this place. The pizza was mediocre at best. I ordered a small sausage pizza and it was very greasy with a very thin, watery sauce and large heaping chunks of sausage. The pizza was tilted at some point in transit from oven to table because the cheese had slid off the side of the pizza into a greasy lump that absorbed into the paper. Also I’m not sure if the ovens weren’t being scraped between ordered but on multiple pieces I tried I found large thick black chunks of what looked like burnt cornmeal or other ingredients from previous pizzas on the bottom of the pizza. The flavor of the sausage wasnt bad but I personally wasn’t a fan of the large chunks but to each their own. I’d have to say the highlight of the pizza was the cheese although I struggled to get much of it to stay on the pizza as the sauce was thin and runny. The server was very nice and working hard but she needed more help up front. She was greeting customers, taking table orders, helping walk-ins at the counter and taking phone orders. It was so loud in there that I could hear the cooks in the back screaming and swearing and dropping f bombs which didn’t help with first impressions, especially considering there was a family with kids sitting next to me. I felt bad for the server because she was running trying to help 2 different parties of people so I got up, paid at the counter, left the rest of the pizza and was on my way. Certainly not the worst pizza I’ve ever had but I wasn’t impressed. I heard mixed reviews about this place so I wanted to try it for myself and clearly I must have caught them on an “off night”. With that said, for the price it wasn’t a bad deal. Small sausage thin crust pizza with tax and tip came out to under $20 which is still pretty hard to find these days for a homemade pizza.(Not Papa John’s/Pizza Hut/Dominos) I would give the...
Read moreTonight was the 4th time ordering from here. First time, great pizza, old school flavors, sausage a bit different as it's bigger pieces and kind of scarce, but decent. 2nd time ordering, 16 in doubled the sausage, extra sauce, and well done, What we got was extra sauce, same sausage, and slightly well done. 3rd time 16 in doubled the sausage, extra sauce, and well done. What we got was doubled sausage, well done, and no extra sauce. Tonight was a complete disaster. Ordered the usual 16 in doubled the sausage, extra sauce, and well done. What we got was a 12 in cheese pizza well done. When we picked it up, it took quite some time to find our order, then we asked "this is 16in"? as it looked quite smaller than usual, and employees just gave the deer in headlights stare and said yes. So either nobody knows how to read the order ticket or the teens inside are doing nothing but messing around. But this place cannot get orders correctly. We gave more than enough chances as there can always be an off night. Tonight, last straw. It's a shame, I think if we ever would get what we ordered, would be fantastic. Had a few pieces because we were starving, but the rest goes to...
Read moreAfter 15 years of doing business with Villanova pizza I will absolutely never do business or purchase anything from them again the pizza I ordered was burnt to the crisp the delivery driver was rude and ignorant and his ride along driver hopped out of the car and told me that I should not speak to her delivery driver that way when they promised to have my pizza delivered half an hour prior to the time I was standing out in front of my house waiting for the delivery Some people really need to learn what it means to be in business and satisfy customers but even the slightest little things that make a simple operation run smooth I really feel ashamed for the people who own and run this business now because it is not the same as it was when I first started doing business with this company Good luck kids I hope you learn the basics of good business to keep customers instead of lose them! On one last note remember excuses only satisfy the people who make them!! I wish I could post pictures of the...
