Overall good experience. I had the cabbage rolls but they tasted kind of bland- definitely had worse before from other places but expected a bit better from this establishment. Maybe my expectations were set to high. They also forgot the rolls to the cabbage roll special I had ordered which i hadnt even noticed until we had left so no big deal. Table was a bit dirty when we sat down and the floors didn't seem very clean but it was also around Easter time when we went and I get that being busy puts cleaning on the back burner when you're trying to get food out the the customers as quickly as possible. The lady who waited on us took note that our daughters food looked burnt so she had them remake it without us even having to ask which I thought was awesome. Over all- Customer service was good, food was decent, prices were good, good experience. My husband and I had to make a Sunday trip down south and after the errand we were very hungry. Rather than settle for the fast food options in Logan we searched Google maps for a restaurant, hoping for a local eatery open on Sunday. We found Janet’s and were SO glad we did! Chicken and Dumplings and 2 sides were the special, and aptly named. Delicious, with clinging gravy and homemade flat dumplings. The green beans on the side were phenomenal, mashed potatoes did not disappoint, and the fresh hot rolls melted the butter for a perfect feel good meal. The sweet tea was fresh, strong and not too sweet; a perfect addition. My only regret was that I was too stuffed for the awesome pies and puddings listed as dessert options. Next time!! Horrible food since new owners took over!! Employees and waitresses are just flat out slow and lazy and very rude !! I've seen 2 black male Employees and a white lady waitress try to attack a disabled male customer in the parking lot!! Ik the customer was doing nothing but settling in his vehicle waiting for his order at the time because i was parked next to him at the time it happened!! This place seems more like a ghetto place u would see in somewhat like Chicago than a small country town in wv imo!!
