I had just gotten off the phone with a client at 5:16pm and entered this establishment at 5:20 pm. We were seated and placed our order. For an appetizer we ordered a caprese salad and an order of fries. It had taken 15 minutes to receive the salad and we never received our fries. My wife called the waiter over and asked if we were going to receive them as an appitizer. He apologized and about 5 mins later he had brought the fries out. Another 15 minutes had gone by and we never received the subs and personal pizza that we ordered. I had asked the waiter twice where our food was and told him to box it up because my family and I had an engagement at 7pm. He apologized and stated that they were very busy. I knew this because we saw the party come in after us. At 6:30 pm this man came out of the kitchen with our pizza and no subs. My wife and I were already upset that the ticket time was 45 minutes plus and we only received our appetizers. Instead of apologizing he had a horrible attitude and said that if we wanted something made from a microwave then we needed to go somewhere else. He was very rude to my wife, didn't let her speak, and when she tried to he would speak over her. Their food might be good but their service and customer service is the worst. This was not a farm to table restaurant but a pizza and sub shop off an exit on 83. I suggest if you want great fresh Italian fare and great customer service to...
Read moreThe food is hit or miss here depending on who is working on the evening or afternoon that we come in to eat. We usually stick to the pizzeria classics such as the meat lovers boli, calzone, or their Sicilian pie. Their mozzarella cheese is better and more abundant than most local pizzerias, but the pepperonis and sliced sausages are wafer thin. We always have to zhuzh up our meals because the pomodoro sauce they use here is lacking in spices such as garlic, basil, onion, and red pepper flakes. This is very typical of pizzerias throughout the south central area of Pennsylvania, so we now carry a small container of spices in our car. Kinda sad that we have to do this, but it does help to enhance the flavor of the food here and make it taste like it came out of a New York kitchen owned by someone familiar with Italian cooking. The service here has always been great. Mostly young adults who are sometimes a bit goofy, funny, and entertaining, but they are also very attentive to the guests. Weve had food that was over cooked because the employees allowed themselves to be distracted with their antics, but they're young, working instead of playing video games at their parents house, and they're learning how to become professional yet friendly employees that will serve them well in...
Read moreOrdered carry out from this restaurant and was absolutely disappointed in the food they gave us. It was my first and last time i will order from them. It wasn't until we got home and opened the containers to see what is supposed to be called hot wings were just naked wings in grease with a few shakes of hot sauce on them that is not how hot wings are supposed to be made. There was literally no sauce on the wings they were dry and over fried. The cheesie garlic bread was soggy and tasted like a ton of salt was dumped on it, the pizza dipping sauce was watered down and runny, the pizza was soaked with so much grease im guessing from cheap cheese and pepperoni products, it was literally orange in color. I spent almost 70$ and drove to pick this up only to have to throw most of it out because we couldn't even doctor it up and honestly if i purchase food especially at these prices it should be edible and you shouldnt have to try to fix the restaurants mistakes. I will never order again. You should take pride in what you serve, I would have been embarrassed to give this...
