So, unfortunately, I have to edit a review I made for this Dairy Queen about 6 months. My previous review was 5 stars, but this one is not even going to be close. I ordered online because I live 20 min from the store, and I just prefer pre-ordering. The set time for pickup was already 30 min after ordering so i figured it should be ready on arrival. When I arrived, there was a line around the building, and inside. I was unable to get anyone's attention to tell them I had an online order, but then the young lady called out my name and proceeded to hand me my two ice creams, and started to walk away. She seemed startled when I told I also had food. She walked into the back a moment, then came back and told me I might as well take a seat, it was going to be awhile. I made her take back the ice cream (which was for family members at home, not me) and put it in the freezer. I then waited 25 min, and finally saw someone finish my order, say it was done, write my name on it, and set it to the side. I waited a few more minutes, and finally, I had to call out to the young woman as she delivered other person's food, and ask if I could get my bag. She stopped and got it for me, including my ice cream back out of the freezer. I paid $32 for my food and waited almost an hour. I'm giving 3 stars only because, except for the fries, the food was still pretty good. I understand that there are busy days, but they did not appear short staffed. According to other customers, a major coupon had come out that day causing the backup. I believe they should have been more prepared given that it was a Saturday night. Every single time the order is incorrect, or something is missing at this DQ.
I ordered A BBQ 6 wing basket. Correct on my receipt too. (Last time they gave me 5 strips instead of 6. I let them know that as well).
Today, I opened the box bf pulling off (I'm learning) and my order is wrong (surprise there). The wings have no BBQ sauce on them. Sigh. I tell the girl and hand the box back. She says, I can't take food through the window. (Good job Tiffany, right thing to do). She says we will make you another order and you can keep that one (again, not my mistake, and the right thing to do.)
BUT...THEN...
A blond comes to the window with her hand out a few mins later and says they can take them back and add sauce. (Pretty sure that is a health hazard. I mean, they don't know if I sneezed all over the food and/or the box. Do they? No. They don't know if I'm well or sick. Do they? No.
And they are handling the box I had back inside their store. But, here you go "DQ hazard risk employee."
When I get them back in my car (again), my strips were torn/ripped up. :( Again. Their mistake, not mine but I'm the problem?).
I called another Dairy Queen and they said that it is not protocol to take any food back through the window.
I'm sending the video to corporate and may be calling the health department depending on how this is handled by this location.
At the end of the day, this was NOT my error. The right solution would have been to make a new order.
INSTEAD she risked the health of every single person that comes through Dairy Queen for a mistake on them and my order ended up being a mess and broken...

We had a computer ticketing system that knew the seating capacity of each theater. When we had sold all the seats in a theater, the computer would not allow us to sell anymore. In 2020 this DQ does not have a point of sale system that will allow the order taker to know that they do not have anymore No Sugar Added Dilly Bars. We have been turned away three times in a row. Two times we placed our order at the drive thru and got our total. Waited in line and were told at the window that they indeed did not have the product. Today we placed our order, waited in the drive thru line. The cashier took our money. Gave us a receipt and then told us that they did not have them. Then had a bit of trouble giving our money back.
