Would give zero stars for customer service if I could. Called early in the day to make sure a party of ten would be okay to celebrate a birthday and we were told “no problem!”. When we came in, we asked if it would be okay to move 2 of the tables to accommodate our party. Not only was the employee rude about that, but we were told our kids (two babies 10 months old and 1 year old, and a 3 year old) would need to sit on the chairs by the wall side because they didn’t want them running around the restaurant. I’m not one to complain, especially about small businesses, but we were very disappointed in how we were treated tonight, upon just walking in. Of course, I would have maybe understood if my 3 year old ran in and was misbehaving, but he literally walked in and sat in a chair. When it was made obvious we weren’t welcome, we stood up to leave and the employee quickly rushed over and pushed in our seats/moved our tables. An employee from the kitchen shouted “good!” As we left. We were treated as we were rowdy customers, when we had just arrived and barely said a word. Not a word was said to us that we were taking business elsewhere. Won’t be eating here or ordering...

Konnichiwa London is a wonderful restaurant with fresh ingredients quickly prepared to order in a spotlessly clean tastefully decorated modern environment.

They feature “Asian” dishes with flavors from Japan, Korea and China. Numerous appetizers are available.

We had their Sesame Chicken and Korean Beef Bulgogi. Both dishes were beautifully presented on a bed of flavorful rice. The meats were absolutely beautifully done. Nice prime quality, tender and served in generous portions.

The wait-staff were very attentive and kind, even offering a gratis to-go soft drink after our meal. You do not have to wait in line to settle your tab, it is done table-side with printed receipt if you wish.

As of this date, 2-21-22 they are still awaiting their liquor permit, so hot sake will be in their future. For now tasty teas and soft-drinks are available.

I am so happy these guys chose to offer hibachi and sushi in London. The food is great and the bowls are reasonably priced for the portion size. When they first opened the only thing missing was saki and Japanese beer, but they have recently added to their offerings and are serving Sapporo, Kirin Ichiban, a variety of Saki and more. I recently learned that if you order online you will want to order through their clover website listed on google and not use the Google maps online ordering feature through Doordash. The Doordash option looks alluring because it says "no service fee", but everything is more expensive when ordering that way.
