EDIT: Unfortunately this edit has to be made…we just received a phone call at 8:30 pm at night. My husband answered the call from the owner who proceeded to argue and say that they have the best service in traverse city and that we should have told them orders were wrong before writing a review (which we did and have). He was extremely aggressive and made excuses, blaming us for the error. He aggressively asked well what would you do to make this right to which my husband answered maybe have a order double check in place (which us not our job as a customer to come up with a solution) and to not call your customers and attack them at 8:30 at night.
So incredibly unprofessional and unkind. All that would have need to been said was man we are so sorry we got it wrong. I just wanted to call and address it right away. Can I get your pizza made for you for tomorrow night on us? Or a simple response to this review ‘sorry we got it wrong, we’d love another chance to make it right’ would have been much more appropriate.
[Original Review] I was trying to give some grace before reviewing, as I know it is tough to find help right now. When the new pizza menu came out years ago, we ordered right away and it was AMAZING. Unfortunately for at least the last six to nine months we have been really disappointed with every single carry out order. Everytime there is something majorly wrong with our order. Sandwiches with the total wrong ingredients, salads missing half the toppings, and pizzas made incorrectly.
Tonight’s order is what pushed me over the edge to write a review. We ordered via the app and my husband went to pick up at our scheduled time. Upon arrival they said they gave out pizza to someone else and it was too late for them to make another. The ovens were already off. (Our scheduled time through the app was 7:50). Nothing was done to try to right the issue other just refunding us. Of course it is now too late to order from anywhere else as well.
I’m really bummed because when the pizzas first came out they were spectacular. With higher prices, I should be at minimum be able to get what I ordered. We...
Read moreWe live very close to Fresh Coast and it's been our "to-go" place. I work from home a couple days a week and every day I'm home, I would get a breakfast sandwich or lunch from there. (Excellent sandwiches). There has been a decline though. We got soups to go one day. I pulled the minestrone from the bag and thought I got the wrong order. When I opened the lid, it was clear instead of a beef broth base. Not only was it clear, but it only had celery and onions, so it was hot water with some veggies. Also, since our last trip there, soups are now $10 a bowl! I compared their prices on some things with other stores and everything is double. $6 for a box of crackers. I know prices have gone up everywhere, but FC has gotten out of hand. Everyone also told us to stay away because of the owners attitude and politics. The employee's there are wonderful however, I have seen the owner be rude to his employees and even had an attitude with me one time. We don't care about others political opinions, but I have seen him boast on FB that he's never once worn a mask (even though he has) and tries to push his beliefs on others. Don't mix your politics with your business, it's like saying you don't care about half your customers. He's responses are also very unprofessional. Go to...
Read moreMy family enjoyed going to this location until the owner mistakenly thought bringing politics into his business was a smart idea. (it was not a smart idea). I've been a past business owner and this is a quick way to ruin a business.
My family will no longer give someone with your views that are unAmerican and near delusional our money. I'm just being open about it here, but lots of customers will go away and not say a word.
Please rethink your outlook on the world. Until such a miracle happens, my family will just go elsewhere. I'm sure the owner will weenie and whine about this being "politically motivated" but only a fool believes women should not have a right to their own bodies. It also takes absolutely forever to get a coffee (15 min) because online orders come before the people waiting in person and if there are a lot of online orders before you, well it takes forever. So I have a real life, genuine beef with the slow coffee service (and why we stopped getting coffee after the first three chances).
Awaiting the usual testy, hyper vigilant response...
