The Angus Steakhouse — Restaurant in Long View

Had ate here before on previous trips to the beach, and wanted to take our friends who had never been before. Very disappointed. The food was good, however the service was not, and that unfortunately ruined the entire experience. We couldn't get refills, and then we were told they were out of A1 but there were bottles at other tables, someone in our party asked some people that were finished if we could borrow their A1, and they said absolutely, but then the server basically "jumped" on our person and said that wasn't allowed and she would get the manager which we never did see. I did submit to this restaurant my review for a chance for them to reply however never received, but yet it has been viewed. Because in all honesty I felt like the server had not been properly trained. This steakhouse is a higher end steakhouse, how do you run out of steak sauce, which how do we know if they truly had. Also, getting refills was out of the question. We waited and waited for refills. Very disappointing. And they no longer have the hamburger steak which was...

I've always loved this place. Nice quiet and awesome food, great family people too. They don't put up with trouble defintely put their foot down and stand their ground, they sure do love their customers . I always get the same every time, hamburger steak well done with onions on top, baked potato yum, and slaw. I always give my dad the pickle. Lol definitely have to try it out if you've never been. THE HIGH CHAIRS COULD BE REPLACED THEY ARE A BIT STICKY (the baby wipe got stuck to the chair- crazy) so I refuse to bring my daughter but other than that it's great here, there's live music on Thursdays I think that's right. Chris plays good music and he's a nice family guy. They have a pool table, it's sorta small but hey do you have a pool table lol nope, men's bathrooms in two locations. Only one for the women's and it's at very back. Sorta small bathroom.

I went there in hopes of finding these great burgers everyone raves about. I took a rep out for a business lunch. We both got the deluxe cheeseburger. That's a single "THIN" patty with cheese and some slaw, LT and whatever else you throw on it. 8.65 per burger and a small amount of fries comes with it. Two glasses of iced tea and I was out the door for 21 dollars. The burgers were definitely nothing at all to write home about. They were small and most likely a frozen patty. The only guy working in the place was not the most friendly. He kind of just grunts and groans. The place needs some windows and light. You want the best burger in town.............Go to Al's Diner in Granite Falls. Its like a Meatloaf on a bun and awesome taste. Plus theres enough light to see what you're eating.
