I’ve been hearing great things about Frankie’s on my town’s FB forum so decided to stop in and give it a try for myself. I’m glad I did, the pizza and customer service did not disappoint! My best friend ordered a personal sized Margherita. Unfortunately, it came out soupy in the middle (to the point where if she lifted a slice, all the sauce/cheese would’ve slid off). She was hesitant to bring it to their attention because she’s not one to complain, but glad she did because Frankie graciously fixed her up a new one - no questions asked. The 2nd Margherita came out perfectly! I ordered a personal Hawiian and love that it comes with both ham and bacon. At most pizza joints a Hawiian is just ham and pineapple, and adding bacon of course is an up-charge. I appreciate that Frankie’s makes a Hawiian just the way I like it! I’m also a crust girl, and frankie’s does it right! It is deliciously thin (but not floppy), slightly charred, and perfectly airy. Al-in-all, I’m glad they’ve moved into the neighborhood! Their location is where the old Luigi’s used to be (next to Li’s Brother’s). There is no option for delivery yet, and the restaurant is only big enough to fit 2 high-top, 2 seater tables; however, next door is 1WayBrewing Co. to which you can bring your pies over, have a seat, and enjoy a beer there with your pizza(s).

Finally tried Frankie's. Ordered 2 pizzas: a small cheese, a small hamburg/peppers/mushrooms, and a steak/cheese and mushrooms grinder. The pizzas were very good size for a small! Cheese pizza had very good flavor, good cheese taste. The combo was also very tasty. Fresh shrooms, not canned. Thin crust with good texture. Steak grinder was ok. I think it was done a while before the pizzas and that impacted the quality. Cheese was set up, not gooey. Will have to reorder and try it again. Definitely this is our place to go for pizza now! 🍕

Good new pizza place in Longmeadow. Slices are HUGE and cheap with good flavor and tender crust. Meatball grinder had good bread and the meatballs were tender and seasoned well. The sauce wasn't my favorite in this, but it's not bad. The buffalo wings were big and juicy inside, but the sauce being fried into it takes a little away for me, I prefer saucy wings and this made the outside crunchy, but slightly dry. Overall it's a good spot and I'll be back for more pizza.

new updates, additional comments

Year later update- 2024…once or twice a month we place an order and FRANKIES is still the best in the business, people you gotta try this place! Time after time after time, consistency, quality, off the chart delicious. There’s no skimping on products, the sauce is to die for. If you remember the original FRANKIES’s over on South Rd., Enfield, you will love this place. Forget delivery, go in & experience how hard these people work, check out the sights, the sounds, the smells that only a pizza shop can give you; your mouth will water and you’re going to have a hard time not opening that box on the way home to taste a little pinch! Frank is always at a business, you have a problem you talk to him, he’s going help make it right. Don’t be going on social media posting complaints. Support your small local businessman, this little shop is working hard to get the best food out the door!

—————————

We continue to enjoy this pizza, time and again. Consistently is the key to any food operation; Frankies nails it each time. We ask for certain particulars and without fail, it is perfect. High quality sauce and fixings, no skimping out here.

If you’re like me & remember starting in the 1960’s with the “original Frankies” & ordering only with them up to the time they retired on South Road, you will be impressed. Dedicated, hard working owner & kitchen staff.

Forget delivery go to the little shop for pickup, you’ll see the hard working kitchen staff, take in the amazing scents of spices and herbs, it makes the experience complete.

—————————

Second time ordering, so very pleased with the quality of the products, absolutely delicious pizza…we ordered pepperoni and onion pizza also asked for a particular facet of the pizza design and they nailed it perfectly….Pick up on time, ready to go.. so happy to find Frankies! Keep up the great work- We’ll be...

I was looking for a new pizza shop because our usual was just not satisfying like it used to be. So when Frankie's popped up on our tv, we said why not? Well, let me tell you...I have gone 3 times in a span of a month so far and have had a different personal pizza each time as well as my husband. Each one was absolutely DELICIOUS! I even tried each of my husband's each time to and OMG! I can be very picky with my pizza and this place does not disappoint. 1st time I had the Ranch chicken and my husband had the Buffalo chicken (911 style) 10 out of 10, everything was fresh and very tasty. 2nd time I had the BBQ chicken ranch and husband the Garlic chicken and broccoli, again 10 out of 10. Once again the flavors and the crust! yummmm!! We just had it again tonight and I got the Italiano and the hubs the Chicken Pesto, my goodness, my goodness. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!! Let's just say this is my #1 place from now on and I am not sad about letting my other spot go. The prices are reasonable given the times now a days but that won't keep us away. Our next trip will probably be for the Margarita and Hot honey, can't wait, because we know it will...
