I had never been to a Frenchys in my life. Took my family out to lunch there one day. I got a regular leg and thigh while my wife and kids got stips. I'd say the food is somewhere between Chicken Express mixed with popeyes or churches but with higher quality. They do have a unique tastse. The prices do reflect the quality as they were a bit on the high side for a fast food joint, but I've also been saying that a lot about most food joints lately. I enjoyed my chicken and the sides were very good as well. Not greasy, and had good taste. Customer service was GREAT. At most fast food joints, once you get your food, they could care less if you have everything you need. The manager made a point to come to our table and check on us mid meal. Chicken tender combo- They use seasoned flour but the chicken wasn’t just something to admire. This is something I would’ve asked to let the chicken stay in a little longer and bring your own seasonings. The tenders are huge and it reminds me of the chicken breast you get from Walmart, cut them and season them with flour. If Longview is not the place for you come to Tyler, I promise things will change. People in Longview love Classic and I can see why. It's better than the Tyler location.
