Jucys Hamburgers — Restaurant in Longview

Giving 2 stars just based on service. Food was excellent as always, but this has to do with the service on the front counter. First, we walked in, was not greeted by anything but eye contact being made, and wasn't even sure if we were able to order yet. There was a gentleman that was waiting on a remake that said he had been standing there for 20 minutes. Well when we went to the counter to order, all the lady behind the counter did was walk to the register and wouldn't even look at us. I asked if we could order and was finally able to get the lady to speak. We ordered the food, got the pager and cups and went to find our seat. Food came out fast, fresh and cooked absolutely perfect, but everything we ordered needed forks and syrup. I went up front to ask for 5 forks and syrup for all of us and when I got to the counter I seen 5 employees standing there talking and paying no attention to anything but spreading gossip, and I could hear it. Another lady walked right behind me and around the counter to jump into their conversation. This lasted for approximately 3 minutes. I then asked out loud if I could get forks because all the silverware bins were empty. One of the lady's walked to their bins, picked up 1 fork about halfway out the bin, looked at me and put it back in there and walked away. The lady that originally walked behind me finally came to see what I was waiting on and finally got my forks. The trash cans where you take your plates and trays to was so full that a customer grabbed dishes and took them to the back. Great food as always so this has nothing to do with the kitchen help, but the service we received that morning will be the reason we never return to that jucys! FYI it was the one on Eastman...

I have been eating here for years but lately the service has become sub par. My last experience with Jucy's will be my last. I called in an order one evening and used the curbside pickup. My order looked right but it was a large order for a family of 5 and after driving 15 minutes to my home I realized they had forgotten a burger so I called them to get a refund. I was told policy was to remake the missing item from the order which would not work in my situation seeing as how I had already driven 15 minutes home and wasn't going to drive back for one burger. Well after some time of going back and forth on how to remedy the issue they agreed to remake the entire order and for a later date. The manager told me that if I had any problems when I called back that they could call her and she would explain the situation. About a week later i decided to eat there again but when I called they wouldn't honor the previous agreement and their policy was once again to only remake the missing item. The manager on duty would not call the manager who I'd previously talked to and repeated herself on their policy. With that I decided I would rather not do business with a company that wont fix a mistake that is theirs and follow through with...

Great Food. Don't cut corners. 1st visit and warm welco.e at the door. Very helpful in navigating the menu, which all looked great The burgers are quality proteins and condiments. Be prepared to "napkin up" as these things are big and jucy!

Complementary beans at the counter which are done right. You'd not think beans are a skill to prepare, but they are. And here they are GREAT.

Side order of onion rings that look more like beauti rings off a set of baby moo. Hub caps. (Younger viewers may need to look this analogy up).

Next, I'm going to get one of their baked potatoes! It was the biggest tater I ever saw. Heaped up with all the fixings! A diner next to us had one and it looked like it needed it's own zip code!

The actual eating space is not terribly large. But very adequate. Full of patrons, yet you could still hold a conversation at your table and not have to shout or difficulty.

Drive through had a constant crowd as well passing through.

All in all a GREAT experience for an afternoon lunch. Will be back. Too bad they are not further into Dallas-Ft. Worth proper.
