I've went twice now on the $5 all-you-can-eat spaghetti Wednesday nights between 4-7pm and the spaghetti is good served with a lil cup of shaved parm cheese and a slice of thick toasted garlic bread (best part of the meal) but don't expect to be served right away. You should definitely expect a 20-35 min wait (if not longer) from time the waitress takes your order til you actually receive your food. The first time I went the place was so packed that we were offered a table from people that were leaving so we sat at an uncleaned table and it took the woman about 15-20 mins to realize that the food and plates sitting at the end of our table were not from us and then she finally took it and came back with a disgusting looking rag and did a very quick swipe after asking us if we wanted her to clean the table.. (ummm, yes please.. ewww) she then asked us what we wanted to drink we told her 2 wanted Pepsi, 1 a dr. Pepper and a water she then didn't return for about 20-25 more mins with 2 of our plates and then admitted she forgot our drink orders so we repeated it and she wrote them down this time then she finally brought our drinks and then the other 2 plates for the other 2 people that were with us, waiting for our second plates of food was another fun waiting game but hey I get that thungs were busy but none of us were offered refills on our drinks and so one of the pepsi ppl and the dr.pepper person asked for a refill and she returned quickly this time but when they received their drinks thet said they were watery . K so the second time we went in the waitress was super nice but then we played the waiting game when it came to our food again at least 40 minutes so we have come to the conclusion that when u order expect a huge delay before actually receiving ur food.. drinks were good this time only thing forgotten this time was one fork on one of the plates but then again the place was not as busy this time.. there was one couple that came in sat down was not waited on and by my observation they got upset, gave up and...
Read moreI will never go to Mary's Bar and Grill again. To start, they messed up an order, not once but twice..first time the gave fries when she asked for a side salad. No big deal..it happens. Then, she noticed her 3x bacon burger had no bacon. Ok, we'll, let's tell the server..wait, where's the server? So, we wait..and wait..and finally 15-20 minutes later my friend gets up and looks for the server. She explains she's working both the bar and restaurant..ok. cool..we get it. She asked my friend if she'd like her burger remade, she declines because the rest of us were nearly done eating. She said she will take it off the bill. We said ok..then my boyfriend tells her the fries weren't very good (they were hard and chewy) she snaps back, we'll, I'd refund those too but you are eating them..ok, we weren't looking for a refund, just a heads up that they weren't good and the kitchen staff should know. At the end my bill was 68 dollars and some change. I pay it and we leave. We weren't impressed at all but whatever..life goes on. (Now this is where it gets good!) I get home and a few hours later I check my bank balance on line and I see where I was charged 82 dollars and some change..umm..no. sooo, I go back to Mary's and ask the bartender if I could talk with a manager..guess who the manager was! Yup, our server!! I give her my receipt then show her what I was actually charged. She looks through her slips from the night and finds mine..she says, "oh, there's a zero where the tip is." Umm, ya there Is! Your service sucked and the food was less then great..so, she tipped herself. She stole from me. I really wish I'd have gotten her name..she didn't apologize or even try to acknowledge there was any wrong doing. She's a thief. I, for one, work hard for what I have. I'm sure as hell not going to go to a business with shady people working there! I know a lot of people love that place and that's cool, I'd just double check what you're getting charged if you use...
Read moreWent in for lunch and asked if we could sit outside and was told that we could but she may not be able to get out there depending on how busy she was and we may have to come in and order. We went out and there were only people smoking so we came back in and sat at a table. It was very loud as the music was turned up so much that everyone had to talk loud to be heard making it hard to enjoy conversation. The table was sticky, no salt or pepper on the table, and we were never offered utensils or a glass of water. We ordered iced tea which was fine but had to ask for sugar/sweetner. It took approximately an hour to get our food. The whole time wishing we would have went another block to Guadalajara so we could have had a better, more relaxed dining experience. I ordered the French dip and my partner ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. The menu said it came with crinkle fries but that’s not what we got. They were ok but I could have got those at McDonalds. My French dip was less than desirable. It looked good but it did not taste good. The meat was dry and tasted funny like it had been microwaved. The roll it came on had a lot of splattered grease on top of it. I gave half to my partner which we both only took about 4 bites of our halves. His burger did not have real Swiss. It looked and tasted like processed white American cheese and came with fry sauce as the spread. He wouldn’t eat it so I took a few bites and it had grease pouring out of it into my hands. It was not good. We both ate about half of our fries and left very disappointed. I had heard and read how good their food is. I guess people just don’t get out enough. I really try to support local but sadly I would...
